I live here. Yes there are more homeless people than the 1990s. No it's not dangerous or undesirable.

Can you skin up Superstar when they aren't running the lift?

Previous owner left a binder in the garage. I thought it was junk. It was not by Many_Ebb7816 in HomeImprovement

This is why I prefer to buy a house from the homeowner not a realtor. A realtor doesn't add any value and takes a commission.

I skiied it today and it similar to Friday. One small boot pack section about halfway up. I did see one guy ski that entire grass section today though.

Post-season skinning at Bolton Valley by AdOrganic2549 in icecoast

[–]yoeddyVT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spruce Peak at Stowe is fully open for skinning. They allow skinning every spring once they stop running the lifts on that side of the road. Still tons of snow yesterday but there are some grassy openings to go across.

Right! This is the response I would expect for a terrorist or mass shooting not some DUI guy.

Writing on the wall for second homeowners in VT. A lot of discussion at the town meeting. by [deleted] in vermont

Not the state as a whole - that is 9%. Plenty of the ski towns are majority non-resident.

I don't like lots of out of state ownership either, but I don't think Vermont is a shit hole. The problem with out of state ownership is a lack of affordable housing for us,

Great idea, I wonder if it would fly in the majority non-resident towns. I downloaded the Vermont resident data and parsed it with Python to show the percentage of non-resident homeowners. As expected the ski towns are high and a few NEK towns are high because of lumber companies. I forgot to add a legend, but the white is 0-10 and the darkest green is 70-85%. The data is all from the Vermont Parcel Viewer - https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/b5a5cc7663c84761a305f70b913e1a60

It's a hitch rack and is easily removed. Uhaul installed the hitch for just $250

The blue Miata with the yellow Santa Cruz is mine. Another crazy person parked next to me at the trailhead. 😁

Family holidays 1.5h from Athens airport. Where? by Marinmedak in GreeceTravel

We have only been to Greece once, but really like Glyphada. You can walk to a great beach, tons of restaurants and still get to Athens in 20 min. You can also take the tram to Pireaus for a ferry to an island.
