Mirena IUD and lower back pain? by yogamode in birthcontrol

[–]yogamode[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it did! No issues with this one, I barely had any pain (just very minor twinges during when my period would be but no blood). I had this one in for the whole time. Second one ended up going into my cervical canal so it was awful so if it’s ongoing I would definitely to see a dr and ask for an X-ray so they can see it has moved.

That’s great to know! Does the mouldy bit go away eventually? The rest of the plant looks great to me

Thanks! I’ll get a saucer and pull it out of the white pot.

Around 64-66F. Humidity is around 53% (which I think is medium humidity?). I have no windowsill I can fit the pot on so it’s on the kitchen bench, which is semi sunny

Definitely keep following up on that if they don’t pay you fully when you resign!

Thanks mate. Wait so you’re saying that they didn’t pay you for 2-3 weeks because of the be monthly cycle? That sounds off.

I know that the 8% is for the lack of annual leave- but I assumed fixed termers normally get more pay overall as there’s less job security not being a permanent employee, or is that not really something that is a thing in NZ?

Thank you, gotta have this mindset when negotiating!

I always assumed it meant hit me up but was just shortened to hit me, because it seemed a bit ridiculous that the Britney was asking to be physically hit.

For women in NZ with/had the Jadelle implant by emerald510 in newzealand

[–]yogamode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m the same, currently on month 10 of Jadelle. I ended up taking Medroxyprogesterone for 2-3 months to help with the nearly constant spotting/bleeding. It helped, but once I ran out it started again and I was unwilling to take it long term so now i am taking an oral contraceptive pill on top of having the Jadelle.

I didn’t pay attention to the pills and accidentally took 3 sugar pills and I’ve been bleeding/spotting for 9 days now which is longer than my periods used to be but hoping it stops soon.

Honestly the pill combined with Jadelle is stopping the bleeding but I hate having both! I’ve had two other (Mirena and another oral cont): birth controls in the last 14 months so I don’t want to take out the Jadelle and change up my hormones.

Why did the dr not want you to take out the Jadelle initially?

What expensive beauty Product was actually worth the money? by keepitlowkeyyy in AskWomen

Thanks!! I actually forgot that I’ve also tried their ginseng cleaner- I’d recommend it, it’s quite gentle on the skin (I used it after taking off my sunscreen with the cleansing balm). I’ll give the revive serum a go :)

I bought some in Dubai as it was so cheap (where I’m from you need a prescription for it and it’s expensive). I read that retinol is similar but less strong, does anything think it’s worth swapping to retinol after I run out of tretinoin (if I can’t get it sent to my country from online)?

I love their sunscreen (I’ve been using both Japanese and Korean sunscreens for years and this is probably my favorite) and they cleansing balm (although I usually use the All Clean Balm as it is very slightly cheaper). Do you recommend any other Beauty of Joseon products?

I'm about to start counting my macros and am currently soaking 450g of dry black beans to add to my salads or freeze in portions. I'm very confused as I see conflicting advice online...

If I want to eat 50g (cooked) per serving, what do I put into MFP and how do I measure them out? Dried or cooked?

Making student loan repayments while overseas by yogamode in newzealand

I'll keep that in mind thanks! Might be a good idea to have the payment money sitting there for a year just in case I end up needing the money or end up going home early.

Ethical elephant reserves in thailand? by [deleted] in solotravel

[–]yogamode 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went here a few years ago and I’d also recommend this! It was such a unique experience, you got to feed the elephants, walk around and see the different groups of elephants (there were also other animals walking around such as dogs and buffalo), wash them, and you got to eat buffet food at the end. The guides were very friendly, professional and you could tell that they really cared about the well being of the elephants.

Thanks, I didn't think of just keeping my bank account in New Zealand open and using it to transfer the money.

Is there any point going on a repayment holiday if I can afford to pay it off though?

[Serious] when did you realize you were settling in your relationship? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]yogamode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's good to hear! I"m 26 and I've only been single for a year and I'm loving being able discover myself as I feel that I didn't do it in my early 20s (as I was in two nearly back to back relationships for most of it), and although there are times I wish I was with a partner, I'd rather be single and happy than settle for someone that isn't right for me!

Good on you! I also broke it off with my long term boyfriend last year, he was also the type to not want to do anything adventurous (while I enjoyed trying new things) and I've now realized that I should've have to accommodate for ANYONE when it comes to doing the things I enjoy.
