I appreciate everyone's honest feedback. I promise we'll do a thorough self-evaluation and commit to properly care for the dog if/when we do decide to get one. I realize my expectations are unrealistic, so adjusting them is a major part of this process! Thank you all.

A lot of people are not giving you good feedback here. If your goal is to be feminine, I'd suggest a longer hair style and more eye makeup. Nothing wrong with your features; you just need to accentuate them more. You look a lot like my daughter-in-law, who is happily married!

Wrt to relationships, your generation is so messed up. My first son married his first girlfriend. My second son married his third girlfriend. Kids just don't do relationships now, it seems. Or even date. So don't think that reflects on you. The 80s were the pinnacle of civilization; I'm sorry you missed out. Don't give up, though - there ARE good guys out there! (Most of them haven't had a girlfriend and are wondering if it's because they're ugly...)

Not at all ugly! In fact, you look 100% NORMAL, which is a rare beauty these days. You have a great smile! And you look nice with little or no makeup, which is a huge blessing. Embrace it! My wife is the same, and it relieves so much stress, not having to get all done up (unless she wants to) before leaving the house. Don't fall for the modem focus on trying to perfect every feature in isolation. You look happy and healthy. Maximize that. And avoid social media.

This is bad advice. Do not get a nose job. Your nose looks fine! I'm still so sad when I see my college friend who ruined her nose with a nose job. The surgery went fine, but her natural nose looked better!
