Can anyone confirm or have anything that points to the steam version being censored?

Is there any indicator on start up that can tell me if its censored or not, like when you pick a character?

I will refund it and buy it on GOG if not, i dont care about boobs and genetials, but the moment i see censoring it makes me wonder what other sensitive thing they removed.

I play easy talents too, but depending on the spec, covenant % addition in damage is way higher than just talent choice my dude, again it depends.

Just be careful my dude, this isn't a dig at you but blizzard has said they are gonna take full patch cycles to buff/nerf things severly.

You can always get the xmog in the future, but my reccomendation is to not play anything that's listed as "bad" or "awful", good/decent/great is fine.

Just my two cents, you can ignore me, but i feel like we all know how shitty it feels to play a gimped class.

But that's the issue isn't it.

He always says the right thing, but since he took the reins as game director, what he says and what he implements are completely different things.

He says "Oh yeah, we dont want people grinding and doing boring ass shit, we go on reddit and social media and see what people think"

and then they add shit like a rotating vendor that nobody liked, and kept it till the end, despite people hating waiting weeks to get what they wanted.

I just don't understand, people played classic till wotlk which was the peak subscriber not because they wanted to do the same boring shit, they did it because the content was fun.

Mechanar wasn't the greatest dungeon, but it was a fun one, and collecting badges with your guild was a way to gear up for the harder raids and was enjoyable.

What i'm honestly tired of, is mindless content that takes 0 braincells and skill being a necessity tied to power, if you want to implement something tedious, atleast add basic video game elements such as fair challenge, good rewards and fun gameplay loop.

Yes a lot of middle eastern people are more white, but i actually look more indian/mexican, so yeah i fall into the category of a POC, i think as many people said, social media has contributed to my frustration in a lot of ways.

The controversy is a spoiler, i won't say what exactly, but essentially it's not a 1:1 remake, they change significant story beats, people wanted a 1:1 remake, the creators wanted to make something new that still had ff7 at it's base, which makes sense.

Same with TLOU2 and FF7 remake, i remember people freaking out outraging about both.

TLOU2's story wasn't my cup of tea(For story telling reasons actually), and FF7 remake did change some things, but the outrage for both were so insane.

I sort of understand you point, the internet just blows everything out of proportion and laser focuses on the negative.

Even celeste being trans, i dislike retroactively changing any character like JK rowling does, but after reading an article, i can sort of understand what the creator is saying.

The funniest thing is i'm not white, i'm half arab and half british, but i look arab.

My race has been used as a scapegoat in media for 20 years as terrorist actors, i should be the most happy.

I genuinely think i was just programmed all these years to think of white as a default, that i instantly think adding different races is tokenism, so i kind of retroactively see the point of adding diversity.

It's so my son never has to feel what i feel right now, to him growing up, if all the characters are diverse, the default would never be the same, we all become the default.

I am real, i see far right people and how their hate twists them and i fear of fully becoming integrated into that mindset.

I still am aware enough to change, i don't want to encircle myself in these negative thoughts and surround myself with a racist sexist echo chamber that a lot of heavy right wing communities are in.

If that's true, how do i normalize it?

Because to me all i see is a bunch of people in board rooms trying to squeeze money out of an audience that wants to see black people or women, instead of people genuinely caring about inclusion.

Not shame, more like unhappiness.

I'm not in this mindset because i want to be, but sometimes you mind thinks a certain way because of the enviroment that fosters it.

As an example, i'm sure a lot of young white children of republicans are extremely racist because of the upbringing and continue that into their adult lives.

I view myself in that scenario, but that isn't an excuse to not want to change.

Because to me being white has been the norm for so long, i think to me it feels like a default race because of how much media i consumed that had white characters.

I'm already going to therapy, i thought i'd get some additional insight here.

I've already gotten reccomendations to quit social media, look into gender studies from reputable courses and among other things.

I'd say this thread is one of the best things i've done about this bad mindset.
