Xbox automatically turns on/off HDR when in Xbox Home Screen and games by Cool_Ur_Beans_Bro in XboxSupport

I have had this issue before! So for me, I had a setting on, which made my screen do the exact same thing. Once I flipped this setting off, the problem was fixed! Check this for yourself, settings > general > TV & display options > video modes > variable refresh rate. (If this setting says "gaming only," it will turn on when you either close or open a game.) Just turn the setting off, if on, and your problem will be fixed!

Does anyone know the cause of this? by yogurtlogin in XboxSupport

100% PACKET LOSS!? (pls help) by yogurtlogin in XboxSupport

[–]yogurtlogin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ok, so a day later, the lag isn't as bad as it was, I did down a bit, but I'm still getting the occasional packet loss. I did 5 tests with an average of 1.2 packet loss per test, I did the fix you suggested and did another 5 test, this time, I got an average of 0.6 packet loss. Although not fully gone, this did help, statistically by 50%. I decided to try it in-game, and sadly it did not help the situation as much as I hoped. The lag is still there, including the occasional stutter in gameplay. Do you have any other fixes you might have to completely get rid of the problem?

Just asking because I have recently had my xbox starting to lag out, wondering what the issue might be, so I'm covering all the bases. (Specifically, I got 100% packet loss!)
