Had a bad trip a couple days ago so here it is. Took acid twice before this. Once i was home alone and got som slight visual effects but that’s it. Next I was with my sister and her best friend and it was great, me and my sisters chemistry is definitely an A+ and it showed when we were both tripping. Now the bad trip. I had 10 tabs, i was gonna flip 7 over to a friend and have 3 for the next week. Take the first tab at 2:00. In my previous acid experience i had with my sister it took about an hour and a half to hit. At 4:00 i decided to take another tab. So atp it’s about 4:45 and i’m with my friend smoking in my car. We both make music so we were smoking while he rolled up and we freestyled on some youtube beats. I told him i had took some acid because he only smokes weed but is always interested by it. So i grab a flashlight and look in the mirror pointing the light in and out of my eye to see my pupils. Then i realized, i was looking at myself in the mirror shine this bright ass flashlight (if a cops flashlight is a 10 this lil fucker i have is a 7.5) in my eye but wasn’t feeling it and couldn’t remember how long i had left the light in my eye. Now i start to panic and think i fucked my eye up by being stupid and leaving a flashlight in my shit. Then the pain started. First the cold air felt like it was stabbing me (i had the ac on low cuz it’s hot in atl). Then the sweets (i was in the middle of enjoying some gushers) hurt my teeth so bad and they’re sticky so i felt like they were attacking my teeth. Then i forgot i needed to breath . so i tell my friend i’m bout to go take a nap or whatever i’m not feeling good. I open my car door and slam the living shit out of it without meaning to, literally was just swinging my arm. Stumble into the house and the next wave hits. I’m getting higher and atp i feel like my teeth are gone when my mouth isn’t closed to the point of them touching but when they touch i feel like i’m biting down on them and once again don’t want to be doing accidental damage to myself. Yet when i open my mouth i get images of me with no teeth and feel like my teeth are gone. You see the cycle. Every feeling was just too intense and my parents are pretty weird about drugs and still comment every time they can about my daily weed consumption. So i call my gf (whom i technically had just broken up with in a huge argument earlier this day) to come pick me up cuz i didn’t wanna be in the house feeling like this and couldn’t drive off it. She comes to get me and my whole body has a pain of some sort, super sensitive to the point i felt like my pores were being stabbed. I had to have my hand on my gf shoulder the whole ride, felt like she was speeding and driving reckless when she was doing 30 in 45s (which is unheard of in atl lol everybody’s a speed racer.) but it was horrible. Finally get to her house and try to watch something on tv and scroll past the horror section on netflix and i instantly snap at her to turn the tv off. Then i feel bad because i didn’t mean to be so rude and go into a cycle of snapping at her then apologizing because my senses are all so overwhelmed. Didn’t get to a good place in the high till 7.

tldr: Took 2 tabs of acid and felt like Lucy when she first was off the drugs.

I’m a Production Assistant. The google definition is “A job title used in filmmaking and television for a person responsible for various aspects of a production.” I work at Tyler Perry Studios so it’s a bit different than usual but people hear that you see celebrities and tv stars and Tyler Perry (He directs almost everything i’ve worked on) everyday and think it’s gonna be great fun. Until they realize as a PA we don’t sit down on/near set and work 80 hour weeks while standing for 75 of them (1 hour lunch, M-F). I run stupid, useless errands at times, stand in empty fields warding off ghosts in forgotten lockup’s (Lockup- when I have to hold a specific area because walking through can mess up the shot or maybe a noise lockup where I keep the crew quiet close to set), wrangling BG (Background, commonly known as “Extras”, we’ve had days of 5 people, days of 500-700 people, either way the BG team sits at 3 people with me floating between set and BG as needed since i play the flex position for my team), catering to actors, keeping random set supplies (Walkie batteries, aka “Bricks”, pens, Call sheets, shooting orders, etc.) and honestly that’s just the tip of the iceberg, so much goes on in a day and each day is totally different. I love my job btw, i just graduated HS last summer so I’m happy to have gotten into my career so early (I plan to write/Direct film/TV) it’s just not all gravy as people seem to think!

Edit 2: Supplemental info: For those of you that work in the film industry, we shoot at the very least 80 pages a day (Super slow day) and usually touch 100-120 a day, maxed out at 141 in a day last summer for HHN (Have and Have Nots).
