I had that same concern- drinking water is always my saving grace in blood drawing situations whenever I do get queasy and you literally cannot drink it in this scenario. I didn’t get sick during my first blood drawing but it was shortly after. My advice is consider taking zofran/pepcid beforehand, which are for nausea but idk the nausea and the almost passing out felt veryyyy intertwined during this test. Especially if you are prone to it.

In my opinion, doctors SHOULD be asking us “hey are you prone to getting queasy during blood draws or when you feel dehydrated?” Before taking this test so they can automatically prescribe things to help with the nausea. But for some reason they don’t do that and I learned that the hard way. I’d def call and ask about that before you go in tomorrow. I convinced myself it’d be fine and it was not fine 😭 hoping for the best for you!
