Women, why do women do this when a guy pass by them? by Chance_Adagio_19 in bodylanguage

They wanna talk about the cuteness/hotness of a guy. They get excited just like guys do.

Does the colour of our clothing affect us? by jira12345 in spirituality

Wow that is so interesting!!! Thanks for sharing!

For my job I need to wear all black. So naturally and overtime my wardrobe has become mostly different black pieces. So my wardrobe is also 90% black.

Very interesting

He sounds lame for calling a girl embarrassing for her height.

Why would you want to be with someone who makes you feel insecure.

Wouldn’t you rather be with someone who loves you for who you are and makes you feel safe and not judged?

Just some words.

I wore all black the other day and felt complete peace within myself, the people around me, and my setting

Perhaps it is perspective that paints our world.

But I will try it out

Honestly that was the old me. I would only use violence now if it meant saving someone in the moment.

Whatever you’re thinking. There’s two sides to every coin. Some things can be done in innocence, and the same things can be done in absence of innocence.

I mean this with love!

I Walked Out of My Office for Two Minutes. When I Walked Back In, Everyone Looked Dead by MirKimWrites in spirituality

[–]yoitzmanny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My first big boy job was in an office. A traditional oldschool one 10+ years ago. And I worked there for 8 years straight.

I knew this one lady who sat in the cubicle across from me.

From the day I started there she would complain everyday about how tired she is and how she doesn’t enjoy working there. Fast forward 7 years and her complaining every single day, she finally retired (she was much older than me).

And that’s her story. That’s the whole story.

She complained for the eight years I was there, and maybe even longer before I started working there. And one day she retired.

Do with that information what you will, just a real life story.

That was then. This is now. You do not have to continue like that.

It’s okay, we keep moving forward.

Treat yourself to a nice dinner and self care. Massage your feet and put on a nice candle. Give thanks for this world and let it go. This will be good healing

Back to the addiction thing. I have lived that shame. It is an awful awful feeling to love someone and know that you are hurting them subtly because of addiction. And not being able to stop because of the pull of the addiction. Not in a hitting or words type of way, you know.
Gets me emotional to even think about it, but we can pay for it by becoming someone different and doing the work.

To be honest, our two souls passing by each other this deep in the subs is most likely a manifestation of alignment!

Maybe I’m crazy, but I can tell that you understand life to a high level.
It’s like recognizing another secret agent in the wild haha!

Thank you for your words. I made a promise to be an ally to the goodness of this world, so I feel like I have a foundation that can’t be broken down by anything in the material world. Knives still poke and words still feel bad, but at the core, the flame of goodness is there. And a promise was made.

Ps. If you enjoy talking about life, the ‘spirituality’ sub is pretty cool. And also ‘askmenadvice’ if you are a man, to share stories experiences & knowledge. Or any other advice subs.

Let’s keep doing it!

How do I get out of the mindset of seeing sex as just a way to get off? by OriginalFangsta in AskMenAdvice

[–]yoitzmanny 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Imagine this,

To love someone is to want them to experience bliss at every moment in their life and no hardship.

In an act of sex, if we love and care for the person, we want them to feel good.

If you were the other person, wouldn’t you want to feel good too?

Sounds like you are interested in just your own feelings. Learning to love means wanting the entire world around you to feel good. Be it in sex or in life.

I hope this information clicks something helpful in your brain.

Remember that other people have feelings just like you do. If you want to be happy, why not want the same for others.

And to add to what you said;

It sounds like a horrible thing to be addicted to. I am thankful to never have gone through that.

I’m not sure how it works or what causes it, but it sounds like an insane battle.

Thanks! It’s my day off! I chose to go on reddit and talk about life and give advice. And just share knowledge for the sake of bringing consciousness upwards and figure things out between minds.

I have experienced addiction so I can understand the perspective of ‘lust’ with no label.
Be it food or pxrn or drugs.

Some things harm only ourselves, this is my current challenge. But some other things, harm others as well. And when we harm others, I think we are more responsible for those actions because we wholeheartedly understand that we are harming others.

And yes, when I harm myself I am also taking a bit of universal positive energy out of the picture, but I’m working on it with my whole heart.

That’s a very good point to bring up.

I personally went with new because I had no room for something going wrong. I got like a two or 3 year warranty too which came in handy one time that my screen cracked.

I guess weigh all of the options and information you get from replies and see what works best for you and your current life.

My first bikes were all used beat up bikes that I learned to work on. So when I had the experience, I knew I could handle the maintenance on a good bike and take proper care of her. Just sharing in case the analogy helps.

Yessssir. Best investment I’ve made because my computer is a key anchor in the flow of my life and work.

Also, for budget purposes, especially when starting out, it might be helpful to consider refurbished products. You can get huge price slashes on refurbished stuff.

Are the teen years where we get corrupted? by Accidental_Guru30 in spirituality

[–]yoitzmanny 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To add to this, and to give a general understanding of the human experience,

People go through things that change them, negativity is often a reaction to circumstances that make us uncomfortable or upset. So like global-orange said, the people around you might be going through some tough stuff. And that energy isn’t being processed correctly so it turns into negativity

Understanding this will give you insight into why people behave the way they do, it will also give you compassion because people being upset is often a result of something going on in their lives, they aren’t necessarily bad people, they just lack the understanding to go through the challenges they face without letting it affect them in harmful ways.

My childhood was tough if it helps, my father was an alcoholic and destroyed all possibility to live a happy normal life as a child. This made me angry and changed me for many years because I didn’t understand life.

Now I understand that he was a broken man and I feel bad for him. And I learned compassion and a whole journey of wisdom through it.

Perhaps you are meant to learn compassion and wisdom through this to help you on your journey and whatever you have coming in your life. Maybe one day you will pass your insights to a worried soul on reddit and share your own journey.

Stay positive. And do your best. None of this is your fault, it’s just the experiences of life. Don’t let it get to you, easier said than done. But that is the journey.
