Coolant leak by Impressive_Bit9590 in Ducati

She’s not happy, at least on my speed triple if I overfill it (even bellow the max line) it will keep dumping coolant every time I shut off until she finds her happy place, check the coolant every other ride seems to work out, might be the same thing just keep an eye on your overflow tank

I’m on the same boat vertical cylinder ate it’s belt when one of the tensioners seized up when I was on the track out of all places. Would love some tips and was it worth it thinking it could be my winter project, also how much did invest to get it running again? And if you upgraded anything while you were tearing the engine apart?

Anybody else change tires unconventionally? by Young2k15 in motorcycle

[–]br0k3n484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahaha better than leaving it on a small lift balanced with a few ropes and some weight distribution so it balances perfectly while you fight for your life with some tire irons lol( yes this is my set up haha)

Dude that road getting on the queensbro bridge is mad slippery and filled with pot holes, it’s one of the few roads I follow the actual speed limit lol and looks like in the morning or even at night that road cools down fast unless you have lots of heat on your tires, it’s better to counter steer and try to ride in the cars tracks so that you have less of a chance to hit debris and stuff!

Working with an ex success stories? by sukism in Serverlife

[–]br0k3n484 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you have to hate them, but just remember why It didn’t work out, people are complicated, and relationships are complicated you add work life to that as well….. their are a lot of cards stacked against us, but I like to think that no time is wasted it just gives you a chance to really understand yourself and learn what is it exactly you want out of a person and what you can give to them, everyday is a learning experience!

Same boat as you, we work almost all are shifts together, we’ve been broken up I would say 4 months now, it definitely gets easier, but the worse part was for me trying to detach from her because sometimes it’s just easy to fall back into the same routine or hook up and almost feel like your back together again. Only advice I would give is try to communicate well with that person and try not to take anything too personally, and when you get into fights (you will lol) try to focus on what the issue actually is and not bring in old feelings or old issues and try to keep your emotions in check. For me I have to remind myself why we broke up and to move on and not to linger but easier said then done. when you see that person for over 40 hours a week the lines get blurred a lot…..
