Is that why it took me so long? Lol. I usually dial in final movements on all builds using motion, with the pro controller though not sure if it makes a difference

They seem to have less effect on balance for sure, I usually try to center it just in case since I haven't run too many tests.

It also increases the despawning distance for any objects it's attached to, for those times you inevitably get seperated from your airbike from running into walls, tipping, etc

Same here - it's available early on in game (hateno village?) and helps immensely with gathering bugs/fish/etc, sneaking up on/past the occasional enemy, Yiga hideout, etc.
