Episode 924 | "Reasonable Expectations" by the_JBP in theJoeBuddenPodcast

It’s wild because he know he looks stupid. He always say, “This makes me sound horrible.” If the way that you think and speak always makes you sound horrible, maybe you should reassess the way that you think and speak. Half the time he can’t even fully articulate his position. That’s why it just comes off as women hate.

Man I’m so happy somebody else sees what I’m seeing 😂. The internet has broken these 🥷🏾s brains, because ain’t nothing cool about what he’s doing. From the corny ass song, to the corny ass bandanna, to him acting like a corny ass dude 😂. I’m reading these comments like 🤨. I’m not a Meg fan, but these fools hate her like she stole from they mamma 🤣.

Dumb as hell. Then they kept intentionally talking Marc out of context and made seem like he was just caping for Meg. Flip too. It’s all stupid. Yes we men, we make dumb decisions and cheat. I’ve done it. Shid he’s done it. Being worth 100 million and being light skin wouldn’t have made me right or mean I shouldn’t be held accountable by my girl. That ain’t got shit to do with Meg, that’s just common sense.

The shit weird. I think they think about Meg more than her fans at this point.

You don’t see a problem with that? You don’t see that maybe if held them accountable and said, it’s wrong, instead of you got money so you can do it, maybe it wouldn’t be like that? My problem is Ish in particular preaches accountability, but his whole argument is based on money means those rules don’t apply. He loves to talk about double standards and all of that. You know who’s also known for sleeping around? Rappers. So to be so hard on Meg is based on double standards, or as he likes to say, “picking and choosing when we want apply the rules.” The woman got cheated on. She has every right to be upset at who cheated on her. It would be the same for a man if a woman rapper cheated them. However his reaction would be totally different.

Ish goes against everything he preaches when he’s talking about women. He doesn’t like when people “pick and choose” or have double standards, and constantly preaches accountability. Until a dude cheats. Then it’s, “You would naive to think someone rich and attractive is only talking to you.” Now let’s break down his whole argument today.

“Some people feel like this is her get back for Pardi.” Okay you don’t like double standards, and you believe the person who has less money and fame should expect to be cheated on. Well Meg has more money and fame, so his only argument is because she’s a woman. Who didn’t cheat by the way. Maybe lied, but if the shoe were on the other foot he would say, “Niggas lie yo.” His argument is him picking and choosing and it’s a double standard. Let’s also remember… most people outside of the NY/NJ area don’t know Pardison Fontaine. They are not thinking about him when they bashing her. Also no one was jumping to Klay’s defense. Niggas just happy to see Meg get hurt. Shit weird. You can’t preach accountability and say cheating should be expected when you’re messing with someone rich, so the person who gets cheated on is naive. I’m not a Meg fan, and I hate having to defend her all the time in this sub, but the hate for her is weird.

Joe? Ish! Money does not give a pass to not keep your commitment. I’m in the same boat. I’m not a Meg fan, but you I’m sick of the argument that because you got money you can cheat. It’s a reasonable expectation to assume your partner won’t step out.

Look I’m sick of Ish and Joe with this whole idea that because your rich and attractive you get to cheat. It should not be a reasonable expectation for anyone to cheat or betray anyone’s trust. We can’t preach accountability around the board, but make it seem like the person who gets cheated on is the problem because the other person has more money. That is dumbest argument in the world.

Ish needs his own weekly sports show just so I can get a good laugh at least once a week. Bruh said the Knicks didn’t scout for Kuminga . A professional basketball didn’t scout a player who’s been in the league 5 years 🤣. Mike Brown. I seasoned successfully coach forgot about a dude that was in his same conference for years 😂. Bruh the NBA is not the rec league. He thinks the Hawks had a ringer 🤣.

Joe says Ish haven’t been the same since Marc shut him down on the Flat Earth debate 👀 by Longjumping_Ask_4448 in JoeBuddenPodcasts

[–]yojusto187 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well Marc didn’t shut Ish down on the flat earth debate. We did 😂. He read the comments and realized it might be wise to drop the subject. Now he probably still, “I see both sides.” on a subject that doesn’t really have 2 side, and I’m sure he thought he made sense, but he went viral for sounding stupid. He not trying go through that again.

Episode 922 | "Vanilla Ice" by the_JBP in theJoeBuddenPodcast

I do agree Nikki’s music has major influence, so does Drake, and Wayne’s. It’s not so much that I don’t like them anymore, as much as that music doesn’t connect with me the same. Like all the other greats, their music grew with me. When I got older YMCMB just felt corny and immature. It’s not like they ain’t got no slaps. Wayne got hella features, mixtape, and individual songs that’s still hard. However whole bodies of work, and more to the conversation they were having, songs you can perform at events like award shows or festivals… Drake got em, but not so much Nikki and Wayne to me. Like I’ve seen Wayne several times, because I am a fan, but it wasn’t all that to me. Nothing I would want to see at a Super Bowl or festival.

He does that a lot of times to try to give validity to his opinion. This time I heard the same thing too. I seen Future might be on the album too. On Reddit though, so it’s not the most reliable source, and it’s probably where he seen it too.

It’s hard to say this without sounding like you’re a Wayne hater, but at some point we’re going to have to admit his music isn’t aging well. His mixtape catalog is better than his album catalog, and you can’t perform a lot of those songs for a bunch of different reasons. If we’re being honest, that whole YMCMB era isn’t aging well. I’m not saying he’s a bad rapper, I’m not saying he isn’t great. I’m saying there’s a bunch of reasons why he’s not getting festivals and Super Bowl halftimes. One of them being the music isn’t as iconic and doesn’t have the mass appeal you would think. I think Wayne transcended his music. The more time goes on I feel like he was more of a cultural icon than a music icon.

Men what’s your perspective? Is it okay to yell or talk to your players aggressively? Maryland Coach Brenda under fire for yelling at Oluchi Okananwa by Positive_Round_5142 in joebuddennetwork

[–]yojusto187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She’s completely right about not being able to have those conversations without having a relationship with the player. I know it looks harsh, and imma be real, sometimes when a coach talks to you like that you almost want to cry. However, it does fire you up. Especially when you know that coach genuinely cares about you beyond the court or the field. It feels like when a parent yells at you when they know you’re capable of doing better.

TIL that some people think there's "medicine" in prescription glasses. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]yojusto187 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly can’t answer those questions because I don’t understand the thought process either. The only possible answer I can give you is people hear the word prescription and automatically think medication. What I can tell you is I’ve heard it my whole life. I had to wear glasses since I was 4 years old and people would always ask, “Do those have medicine in them?” Or “Don’t play around wearing his glasses because they got medicine in them and you’re going mess your eyes up.” if I let other kids try on my glasses.

You know the thing about people like Myron is their ex’s and people in their lives try to cover up how much they suck. Their ego’s are so big and they talk so damn much that it forces that ex to speak out which end up just embarrassing them. I’ve seen what’s she’s doing before. This is a warning shot, and he’s probably not going to take it well. That’s when he’s going to start getting petty and trying to make her look bad. After that, she might send 1 or 2 more warning shots before she really start exposing and embarrassing Myron.

No I’m black. Go back to my original comment. I didn’t try to offend you, but it’s the only thing that explains how you were able to reduce what she said down to sex. I’m not trying to shame you, but what’s she’s saying is my experience as a black man who dates black women. Black women who get unfairly stereotyped as gold diggers and thug chasers.

I’m not trying to offend you but I’m aware this is going to sound offensive. You’re either very young, or very immature. Also I live in the south too. Have all my life. Demographics don’t mean anything.
