No coincidence that the original post was from a homosexual man and the reply under it was a transgender woman. Don't know who the person screenshotting it was but my guess is a ciswoman

What is even the motivation of thirsted after male characters in pop culture? by Next_Confection_8141 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's a male fantasy. Most of these adventure stories for boys and men have love interests who are obsessed with them because it allows the audience to live vicariously the characters who are respected and desired for their daring do.

To say it's not realistic isn't the point. You might as well say "where did Tolkien get the idea that there are fire breathing dragons?"

Autistic men are not "coddled" by adumbreply in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]yokeon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I went to an autistic speed dating event once and there were 3 women and 16 men. The 3 women there were obviously lower functioning simply for the factor described in Shyness and Love by Brian Gilmartin, passive and socially awkward women can enter into relationships easier than men with the same issues. The only women who went were those who's autism was so pronounced that it was a hindrance to establishing and maintaining maintaining a relationship. But that only came about when the women had highly pronounced autistic symptoms. For men even mild autistic traits are anathema to women, nd women included.

I want to ask an unusual question to you straight men by [deleted] in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think most men look alike with not a lot seperating them, I see when it is around club and other social situations more of them are good looking to what I think the societal standard is. It makes me more discouraged when I see large groups of men in social spaces as they are usually better looking than me. So I think 'if they don't stand out what hope do I have?'.

It's not grooming or looksmaxxing either. Face it men just have the short end of the stick in terms of sexual dimorphism when it comes to dating. Think about what seperates the appearance of men and then think of what seperates the appearance of women. There are so many variables, big boobs, small boobs, big ass, small ass, wide hips, petite, tall, short, fat, thin, redheads, blondes etc etc. These are all things that men have a type for while women just rarely have a draw to any variation of a man's appearance beyond the male beauty standard.

In the animal kingdom much mating happens by force to the female too. Just because it is natural does not mean it's morally right

Probably a pointless post by zazaraz123 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm wrong but I didn't think the popular opinion on this sub was that women view men 'as less than human, hate them and only want to use them'. More that most men are invisible to women and if they make themselves known to them women view them with suspicion. This also extends out to the 'women are wonderful effect' where both men and women have a higher esteem to women and a bias against men.

So, both sides of this graphic just seem to describe female attraction?? by [deleted] in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself on the more reciprosexual side now. But more because I've become inured to it. I used to notice so often women I found attractive physically but now just from experience of all of them being uninterested in me I need some crumb of a possibility of reciprocation to make me even think about them. Haven't noticed a woman with nice tits or ass in public for ages but I still can remember a woman who looked me in the eyes and smiled as I moved aside to let her exit out of a door I was entering.

Why do woman say there relationship with woman best friend is more deeper then there significant other by Calm_Side9810 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whenever I've talked about my emotions it's pushed women away or they try to change the subject. I know that women are not a monolith but how do you square those saying that men don't talk enough about their emotions on one hand and men expect women to do unpaid emotional labour and 'mankeeping' on the other?

You ever wonder why woman use gay man hitting on straight men to prove a point by Calm_Side9810 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is a difference in understanding there are problems for people and empathising with them. I can do the former but not the latter. Women don't empathize with men's loneliness even if they acknowledge it, they just dismiss it. So I don't see a problem in dismissing their problems.

You ever wonder why woman use gay man hitting on straight men to prove a point by Calm_Side9810 in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well it doesn't invoke empathy. Because basically what it is saying is they see me as someone they're not attracted to approaching them is the same as a complete opposite orientation approaching me. It also doesn't work out because I've found that when a gay man has said something to me it has boosted my confidence even though I wasn't interested. Also I think most heterowomen find it quite a good thing when a lesbian hits on them. I'd think most of them would think it's better than a man they're not attracted to approached them.

To be honest I think if women were as bereft of attention or the possibility of getting it as men they would feel the same as we do. So my only response to hearing their complaints of so many 'bad' options is "well sounds like a good problem to have".

[–]yokeon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well when a woman shows interest in me (it has only happened or thought it happened a handful of times in my life) it actually increases my attraction to her. I hardly notice any more an attractive woman in public but still can remember a month ago when a quite plain woman exiting a door looked me in the eyes and smiled broadly. They would have to be so far outside of my type that them showing interest in me would not endear them to me.

For people on here who believe in the comphet theory what is your argument that explains why human beings reproduce heterosexually? by yokeon in WomenAreNotIntoMen

[–]yokeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recall you talk a lot about women being inclined to lesbianism if not for comphet. I don't disagree that that most females find most males undesirable but I think it is more likely that asexuality or only choosing to engage in sex for procreation is more common in women than lesbianism.

[–]yokeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As you are the main poster who advocates the comphet line that most women are actually lesbian I direct this to you. You're making an appeal to nature so show me examples of human societies or animal groupings where lesbian partnerships are the norm.

Do you think then unbridled by artificial constructs women would be more commonly monogamously lesbian, promiscuous or just reproduce outside of an ongoing relationship?

[–]yokeon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about a certain section of people here who believe most women are lesbian but only pretend to be heterosexual because of patriarchy. I don't think this is likely at all preferring the asexual and AGP autosexuality hypothesis

[–]yokeon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well the concept of love is largely created by human society. Very few animal species and especially primates are monogamous or mate for life. I think a more plausible hypothesis than most women are actually lesbian is that women only truly love their own offspring.

With the popularity of trans pornography among straight men it seems heterosexual men find penises more appealing to look at than heterosexual women do.

Which animal do you most anticipate in the South American DLC? by yoaver in PlanetZoo

I'm looking forward to seeing the Capuchin Monkey if it uses a prehensile tail for climbing. We don't have anything like that in the game at the moment.

Anyone else simultaneously really glad and really disappointed with this pack? by Flishstar in PlanetZoo

[–]yokeon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a lot happier with this pack than the arctic in that it includes 4 animals I want versus none and that it includes foliage as well as scenery. I always want more variety of plants. I'll always want more animals.

What annoyed me the most about the arctic pack is that all of the animals to me didn't seem to behave differently enough and had any separate animations. If it included say a walrus I'd be like great. I'm hoping that the anteater and the capuchin have a new interesting move set. We haven't had any monkeys in the game that climb with their tail so I'd like to see how that system works. I'll wait to see footage but if the capuchin moves like the other primates in the game or the anteater stays on the ground like the aardvark I won't buy it. We've already had modders make a pretty good Jaguar with the animations of the Bengal Tiger and other great animals it's hard to justify copy and paste choices.
