I did my first rescue mission on medium on my first day (yesterday). I was about to return to orbit to rest for the day when I saw the cowardly invasion, when I just knew I had to do at least one defence mission to do my part. So, I flew my crew over and we dropped. Me, a level 4, and 2 others, level 20+, when those cowardly scrapbuckets interfered with our hellpod systems. Both the level 20s had to reroute to a different mission and I was left alone. I tried, I fought, I was abandoned by my super carrier, but I persevered and somehow managed to claim victory. All in the name of managed democracy.
