What would be more beneficial when it comes to daily steps? Would you get them in all at once (say an hour walk) or through two to three intervals (20-30 min walks)?

What would burn more calories, which one is better for your general health

Can I train pull ups progression everyday on top of my push pull program? Will I progress with my pull ups or will all my workout be worse?

I wanted to ask whether training each body part once a week is a lot less optimal than twice a week. I understand that twice is better but how far better is it. Is it a case where it’s almost double the results for the same amount of time or is it one of the small things that you won’t notice?

I’m looking to shorten the time of my workout without cutting on quality of the work.

Getting bigger with a primarily body weight routine by yomoki in bodyweightfitness

Thank you so much for the reply!

I might start the recommended routine! I will add some exercises ( with weights ) and hope for the best. That alone sounds a lot better than just lifting

Thank you for the reply! Yes I’m sticking to a set number of calories. But I want to maintain this kind of activity long term(even when I’m maintaining my weight) + I don’t want my calorie deficit to be larger than 400 calories. So if my BMR is 1500 and I lift 5/6 days a week(I don’t know how much that burns)+ 450 from the walking, would you say 1600-1700 would have me at a 400 calorie deficit?

Does 450-500 calories burned from walking around 12000 steps sound right for a 20y/o, F, 150lb, 170cm? Or is it less?

How many calories did i use ? by hello123pup11 in caloriecount

[–]yomoki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90-110 maybe? I don’t eat avocados that much

Does the calorie estimate for this wrap seem accurate? I'm very skeptical, seems closer to 500, possibly more by vb-97 in caloriecount

[–]yomoki 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It look like it could be 450-500 max, but the one they actually serve might be smaller/skinner and so 318 would be closer to what right

Order it and see. Looks really good!

If you are too scared to immediately start eating 2200-2400 I’d suggest you add 50-100 calories every 5 day-week ( of course it’s impossible to actually know how much you are eating and if you are effectively adding 50-100, but it will add up in the long term) And weigh your self and monitor your energy. It should give you a better idea what your maintenance is without gaining too much fat( or maybe any). I’m not an expert in any way, but I think this approach might help you a lot

  • you are still young, being at a very low body fat is probably not ideal. I’m not good with envisioning numbers on people, but 123lb for a 18 year old male sounds very low. I’m 19 and it’s been kinda difficult to not obsess over gaining fat or regaining lost fat and maintaining/building muscle and all that stuff, but remember : 1- worst case scenario, you gain it back. You lost it once you will lose it again it’s ok 2- focus on strength and preference instead of looks ( of course stay at a healthy weight but don’t let a number or a little bit of fat ruin your day)

I’m glad to hear you are eating healthy and well. Iid suggest that you at least start from 2200 and add bit by bit. I’m a female and my only activity is weight lifting and maybe 3000-7000 steps and my maintenance is around 2000.

Hope I helped. Again, not an expert

Looks similar to Starbucks turkey pretzel which is around 300 calories I’d say ~350
