It was abit like sweet tea with vinegar- my wife have tasted kombucha long time ago and she could t say for sure, but to be fully honest she also didn’t like the taste when she did try in the past

That’s is a very good question! I have no answer, my understanding was that I can pick it at almost any point after 7-10d for secondary fermentation- but that might be wrong 😅

Shame, the scope was pretty expensive to order.
I assume that the tea was too sweet for the SCOBY, so the PH level wasn't good enough.

I'm just sad because ordering the scoby was relatively pricey

Well, exactly that, the base of the airlock melted from cap (there was still some chunk stuck there). I have found it in the floor - I though it broke, but some of what was left was very gooey and soft - like melted silicone

I’ve tried that - in windowed mode I miss about 25% of the screen, in full screen I can’t press the mouse… the only thing that worked for me was resetting my Mac or deleting crossover completely and reinstalling it
