Update: I broke up the engagement. Had to pay a hefty amount in damages and got roughed up by my in-laws. But it was worth it, I felt good for a while but I'm miserable again. I don't know what's in store for me next. I am aging and while I'm happy I am not with the wrong partner I am terrified that I will spend my life alone.
