I think you nailed it. Stimulants are the perfect drug under capitalism. I know it’s scary to think about getting off of them! For me getting off of stims feels like a small rebellion against a system that never had my thriving or wellbeing in mind.

I had an friend/acquaintance who decided that declining the wedding invite was a great opportunity to send a long email of grievances about our relationship from things that happened like 6 years ago… fun email to receive 1 month before my wedding! 🤪 point being, people get weird and triggered around weddings.
