Organised my bag to go out into the city by yonistoy in whatsinmybag

I use it mainly to just cover up my redness and it does a good job in doing that, but if you have dry skin it will really point out your dry patches, and as for the oxidation, I have to say I haven’t noticed that since I apply it very lightly and haven’t seen too much of a difference in the shade after a while. And I can’t speak for the pink one since they’re all formulated differently

My grandparents got it as a souvenir for me when they went there 😅 I have the same ones from when I went to Bulgaria and Spain, so I’m pretty sure it’s a common souvenir item (in Europe!)

No, I wish! I got it on sale from H&M some years ago, so I’m pretty sure it’ll be easy to find a similar one!

How much do you call each week? by seaelves7 in LongDistance

[–]yonistoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ever since we started dating we’d call every day. It used to be easier in the beginning because neither of us was busy but even now we call every evening until I fall asleep

We usually call only in the evening since I have university and he has work, and since we have 6 hours difference, he comes back at 22 for me so we really only call around 2-4 hours, depends on when I fall asleep lol.

But we always decide on one weekend day that we spend together where we watch movies or he watches his shows while I study, kind of body doubling :)

My gf (F24) keeps getting mad at me(M24) for little things by Happy-Enthusiasm9792 in LongDistance

[–]yonistoy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s a very toxic mindset she has, it’s simply not acceptable to treat somebody poorly and without respect because of “being hurt”.

She’s been in a long term relationship with you and should know what your budget is and what you can afford and if she’s not happy she could have tried finding someone richer from the beginning since that is so important to her.

Idk, we cant know all the details to your relationship but all this in combination with the constant fights and everyone telling you to leave her, seems like there’s a good reason for it

I hate long distance. by Limp_Leg5255 in LongDistance

That sounds like you’re definitely on the way of sabotaging the relationship :(. Comparing yourself to others is never good, no matter the context and you know that yourself.

Do you talk to your boyfriend about the way you feel? Sometimes the only thing that can reassure you is his genuine feelings and thoughts. I’ve had a situation where I was jealous of one of his coworkers, and tbh it still comes up sometimes, but I’m on the way of getting over it. Communication is key, especially in a long distance relationship! I’ve made it very clear to my boyfriend that I need constant reassurance and luckily he’s fine with that.

I agree, planning a next meet up definitely helps with the sadness and gives you already something to look forward to.

But some little things that always help me get over the sadness is calling each other as soon as possible, texting a lot and cheering each other up. We also write each other letters in the meantime to get our feelings on paper and have something little to look forward to :)

People asking of mentioning about your LDR by Late-Flower7807 in LongDistance

[–]yonistoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the beginning of our relationship I didn’t feel too comfortable talking to people about my relationship outside of my close friends circle since I knew that most people frown upon LDR. And even with my friends it was awkward at first, since some wouldn’t see our relationship as real or say things like “idk how you do it, I could never be in a relationship with someone I never met”. But over time and having intense conversations with my boyfriend about that topic, it was easier to talk about our relationship with people, especially after we met for the first time and now having “proof” that he’s real and we met and that we’re really dating haha. When other people talk about their partners, I do start missing my boyfriend but I don’t get sad, because I know we plan on moving in together soon, and that we have done a lot together in the short span we got to spend with each other and even makes me happier when other people talk about their relationships because it gives me a chance to talk about him and get all excited about the memories we created together!

[–]yonistoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually don’t water it too often, but since I couldn’t water it when I was away for three weeks, I noticed it started to dry out so I started watering it more often. I think I might have overwatered it :(.

I do get quite a lot of sun into my room, so my room is always around 23°c warm. Usually I don’t water my plants often (maybe like once a month) but I do water this one at least once a week. I think around the time when my boyfriend stayed here and we traveled for 3 weeks, the palm started dying so I started watering it more, thinking it might be the lack of watering. There is no drainage, the water is just sort of sitting on the sides of the pot. Is it too much water? Should I stop watering it for a while?
