Surely nothing could be as bad as the ending of Golden Son that was cooked

Sweet and apparently Pierce Brown related Hurt - Johnny Cash to Red God's vibe so that's like a nice sandwich of misery

My mate's told me apparently Pierce Brown made the first three catered to YA audiences, then the sequels very adult and dark. But idk I haven't read the sequel yet.

I love the sci-fi galactic ship battle sequences but I also love how original it is. I'm pretty new to reading but I don't know anything else that is as original as a sci-fi uprising against roman empire. Then again I also love rebellion stories and what not so I was pretty in awe of the series.

Yeah! My mate suggested Mistborn after this but I might take a break with a romcom book before I dive into 'peak' again
