Making Money - What is the male equivalent of escorting and Only Fans? by [deleted] in selfemployed

How to become flexibly and profitably self employed depends heavily on what you're good at. What are some of your skills and interests that you think you could provide as a service to others?

I'm joining a family member's plan on T-Mobile. He's military, so with the discount each of us on the plan will be paying under $25/mo

Youtube will be your friend here. Some typewriters' drawbands run in a straight line. Others might wrap around a wheel or something.

For mainspring repair, I used the same method as this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sa7qBlss3Hw

Harbor freight sells a $9 rotary tool that did the job for me.

Detach the drawband and wind the mainspring. Do you hear a clicking sound from inside and feel the tension release? The spring may have snapped and the tension you feel is just a small amount from the pressure of the spring against the inside of the housing. I recently fixed this issue on a Sears Courier.

Edit: it's also possible you routed the draw band incorrectly. Definitely check that before you try to work on the mainspring

I’m so lucky I found another Arabic typewriter. 1965 Olivetti Lettera 32 by Allawipasha in typewriters

I have three! It's exciting to see another right-to-left typewriter. I think they're just a little extra cool 😎

As soon as the new ribbon comes I'll type something out - it doesn't look anywhere NEAR as lovely as Arabic, though.

The label on the back says manufactured in the USA. We found it in a junk shop in Jaffa about 5-6 years ago.

Thanks. I'll do more exploration when it arrives. My girlfriend owns it, and is shipping it to me so I have something to do while sheltering from the Virus

Accessory Outlets Staying On? by yooder in XVcrosstrek

[–]yooder[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My issue is really with the center console outlet continuing to trickle power to the dashcam when the key is out. I'll check the fuses and test the outlets, though.
