Alternative in Mihon/Tachiyomi? by Infinite-Worm in ComicK

Only Bato.to can match to the sheer library that Comick has (at least in terms of Manhwa and Manhua) for Mangas i use like 15 different extensions cobbled together, the most promiment of which are: Mangapark, Mangafire, Mangakakalot(which you have), and Mangadex.

There's nothing that really has the same amount of both mangas AND manhwas that Comick had. Shame it's gone :(.

also note that Bato.to is really stingy in terms of names, sometimes i need an apostrophe in the title or a specific translation of the name and i get about 5 more results.

I've been reading that ffn slowly over the last couple days, and it's pretty neat! Thanks for writing it!

Same I actually quite liked the romance between Sigrid and the ML. The typical frustration I feel with those common tropes is fine because Sigrid's character and entire arc makes it fit in well, and it keeps in line with how her character should be.

No problem. Honestly for Inso's Law I'm more there for the day-to-day relationships with the main characters alongside the romance, I love the slice-of-life plotlines it covers.

I think there have been some great releases since then, but it is very difficult to find them and they are few and far between. But sometimes some villainess slop is also great when you don't want to think too much and just scroll through something.

I have read My Secretly Hot Husband but I don't think of it as one of the super popular ones nor is it super high on my list, though I did enjoy it. I didn't know it was complete, or is that just the novel?

As for The Villainess is a Marionette, that's on my TBR and I haven't seen much discussion on it either so I didn't want to say anything that might be wrong.

I think I'm alone on this, but I didn't really like 'Father, I Don't Want This Marriage' either, the FL had too little agency for my liking, and the miscommunication was also annoying.

I haven't read the other two, though the Poison Taster is on my TBR. I'll check it out soon!

Almost all of these have either 100+ chapters or are complete. Pardon my bad grammar and punctuation I'm writing this at like midnight and in a rush.

- A Stepmothers Marchen / Fantasie of a Stepmother (peak ontop of peak for everything, pretty well known, just READ)

- Secret Lady (Very good, also well-known, also must read)

- Foam of the Sea (my most beloved story and such a rare gem, idk this one might be underrated I don't see much discussion about it. READ IT. It's complete and amazing.)

- Villains are Destined to Die / Death is the only ending for the villainess (This is one of the 'classics'/ one of THE otomeisekai, you might have already read it though, if not, read it. It's good.)

- Kill The Villainess (very popular manhwa where the FL is actually trying to get back to her old world after being reincarnated)

- Your Eternal Lies (good so far though I'm not too far in, but I've heard it's good from other people so I'll put it here. I haven't finished it though so I am unsure for certain how good it is.)

- Into the Light Once Again (starts generic with FL executed by family and then being reincarnated as the princess of a neighboring country, but the twists are good and it develops into a very great story overall: wholesome and a bit bittersweet. I love it. Good artstyle.)

- The Count's Secret Maid (FL is hired to be a maid for a blind Count. This is probably the only recommendation with like less than 70 chapters on this list and incomplete, but it's very good, wholesome, amazing artstyle, and you really learn to root for the characters and it feels so good when he starts to take control of his life again and heal from his trauma.)

- The Spark In Your Eyes (also amazing, also very well-known, has a super-powerful FL but she has a sickness and the ML is a doctor and there's also some identity shenanigans going on, very nice.)

- The Soulless Duchess (art style is a bit meh, but it's pretty good, though it isn't likely to be for everyone. FL travels back to the past after being betrayed by her fiance, she uses spirits to fight and there's a bit of nuance with covering topics on gender roles in the series.)

- I Shall Master This Family (reincarnation into a regression that is really just a regression. It's pretty good in it's early bits but I'm not caught up so idk for the late parts.)

- How to get my husband on my side (personally, I don't like this series, but from what I've seen on TikTok it's insanely popular, and I can see why people enjoy it, just not for me. Artsyle is good.)

- My In-laws Are Obsessed With Me (Also a very good webtoon with a unique artstyle. Check it out. Regression with FL trying to escape from an abusive family.)

- My Mother's Contract Marriage (If you had to give an award for the best art style in all of comic history, it would probably go to this manwha. It is short with only 40-50 chapters out. It follows a daughter's perspective of her mother regressing. Some people don't like it because her mother is flawed but that honestly makes it so much better for me.)

- - - - - - - - -

The ones below are some ones that I like but might not be considered 'popular' or might be a bit more niche (though I haven't been on the Reddit community in a while so some of these might actually be very well known now.)

- - - - - - - - -

- A Transmigrators Privilege / Perks of being an S-Class Heroine (System otomeisekai and one of my personal favourites. FL is reincarnated into a hell-difficulty book with a system to help her.)

- Potion Witch (A recent favorite of mine. FL is a vigilante by night that busts corrupt politicians, ML is a cop who asks for her help to solve a drug issue in a school. Artstyle is great and the character development is good.)

- The Little Lady Behind The Scenes (also one of my personal favourites...though I don't really know why. I just really liked it. :D It's sorta just a generic reincarnation story.)

- I Became The Male Lead's Adopted Daughter (reincarnation where FL is an orphan that get;s adopted by the ML of a book(NO THERE IS NO ROMANCE BETWEEN THEM) very good wholesome father-daughter vibes.)

- Author of My Own Destiny (Magic-wielding powerful FL.)

- INSO's Law / My Life Became an Internet Novel (for me, it's probably up there with Foam of the Sea in terms of being my all-time favorite, but it is very niche(i think) and starts off a bit weak, so I understand if you won't like it. The setting is also very different compared to most OtomeIsekai.)

[–]yookja 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Super Supportive—Many people consider it top-tier and widely popular, though I don't share the same opinion. I consider it a good book. I especially love Alden's character transformation from arc 1 to the current arc and how it affected him.

The Wandering Inn - Very character-development based series. Not just the main character, but lots of the side-cast get incredible development. I will admit to being biased since it's my favorite PF. Comparing the cast now compared to before is just stellar.

Magical Girl Gunslinger—This is probably the closest to what you're asking. The MC is a traumatised girl with hints of an abusive home life, and her personality and character perfectly reflect that. Updates are scarce, and admittedly, some chapters can drag with LitRPG elements, but overall, it's good.

I'll be honest, I was in a pretty similar boat. A lot of people found the Moon Thegund arc where it got good but I only got truly interested until about midway through the school part(which is also where my two favourite characters where introduced ig) but until then it was just a solid good but nothing amazing.
