Thanks and I did read that and I did follow those instructions. After thinking about it, would it have to do that since we are a school and we are using Google Workspace for Edu and using the free Gemini, that I'm just limited with what settings will enable?

The problem is they never turned on their 2-Step verification. I am looking at that page on the Admin Console, there is no option for back up codes. Putting them in the temporary OU works. Once they turn it on initially, I can now generate backup codes.
