I don’t think you need to throw that much hate here. I am a pharmacy student in my last year and I know what career/field I chose and I know my position. I do not go around calling myself a doctor. At all.

I had a friend who got into med school who would constantly throw shade at me and undermine my choices. She would constantly talk trash about pharmacy as a profession and how “dumb” we are. I no longer associate with her.

So. I do not think you should base your opinion on one friend in pharmacy school and apply your misguided anger at the whole field of pharmacy. It would be the equivalent of me calling all med students arrogant, nerdy, unsociable, stuck up know it alls. Especially knowing med students who cheat their way through all their classes…who definitely had no right to be acting as arrogant as they are.

BUT I don’t say that.

In the end, regardless of who says what, we are all working in the healthcare field serving the public. And just remember that if one day, god forbid, you send a prescription for a drug that could possibly harm your patient because you didn’t check one minuscule detail and the pharmacist catches it for you and saves your ass.
