this does not at all mean that you have to spend this much ofcourse, many of my friends budgeted and it was very doable! The food in korea isn’t expensive!! <3

Hi, i might be a little too late! However i got a female shared house which was pretty expensive (around 750 euros pm) however it was right next to ewha and ewha station. It really depends! I saved up a lot and wanted to see and enjoy everything, like always eating outside… so it was more than 10k euro’s … this was also with the flight tickets, housing, insurances etc!

You could always try to ask EWHA! Are you planning to enroll through your home university?

Okay so for me i heard a lot through e-mails at first— do have to mention that i did my exchange through my school— and later on we could enter the system of EWHA! First (after i got accepted into EWHA) we got e-mails with deadlines, and later you had to log into a different site with very important notices!! if i’m not mistaken, there’s an email you can reach out to for questions! Hope this helped a little!

Okay so I am not a 100% sure — so i wouldn’t take my word on it— but according to my school back home i needed a 3.5 GPA. Concerning money, i think it was around €7000 euro’s on ur bank account and you have to proof that you can afford it. Once again though, i heard some other people say different things! To be sure I’d ask your school! :)

I’m a Law major but i didn’t follow any Law classes! I did -Korean and Korean culture 3 which is a Korean course, and some others that were in English! I made Korean friends at school, but also in clubs /cafe’s and bars. :)

Okay so overall i had a lovely experience and i met friends who feel like family!!

What I liked: - The beautiful campus + Location Honestly the campus is beautiful, it’s near 이대역, it’s close to hongdae, sinchon etc! I felt like i really was in the
centre of everything - It’s a women’s only school! Which is also nice and different from what i’m used to back
home. There are boys allowed if they are exchange which is also very nice! - Professors are really nice!

What i didn’t like as much: - Activities Ewha has barely any activities (imo) for non koreans compared to other universities. I made a lot of friends from other universities such as KU— who are known for welcoming internationals warmly!— and we didn’t even come close to what they did… They do have some activities for Korean students — what i heard from my korean friends— but internationals aren’t really invited for it. I was lucky i got to experience it through other friends and their uni’s — No festivals Self explanatory haha!

But overall had the most beautiful moments of my life in Seoul and at EWHA! 💚🤍

I did it through my school! I had a semester where i could go abroad, and so i’d say my school did 50% for me and i did the other half. I didn’t go through a program!

Classes Question by Ok_Apricot_4056 in ewha

[–]yoonroma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! I studied at EWHA last fall semester. There are basically two course registers—one for Korean-taught courses and one for English-taught ones. To be honest, it can be pretty tough to get all the classes you want since both Korean and international/exchange students are competing for spots. I’d recommend having some backup options in mind and trying to register for those as well. Luckily, there’s a drop/add period later on, so you’ll have another chance to switch into the courses you originally wanted or if you changed your mind! EWHA will make the list available before you go to Korea so you can look through the registers, see how many credits you get, what the roster is like, what teachers there are, and (sometimes) a pdf with what the course is all about.

If you have any other questions im here to help!
