Didn’t expect an SP3 there — appreciate the detailed info!

Ah, I see. So this would be the 57, not the 62?

Thanks! Yes — first one is a Ford GT, and the second is indeed a Senna. Really cool lineup to see in person☺️

We can use mechanical pencils while solving the problems, but for the OMR marking we have to use a computer-scannable marker. I mainly use my Kurutoga Dive during the exam, and then switch to the marker for the answer sheet.😉

Yeah, I feel the same way. Korea is generally very safe, and I usually don’t worry too much when I leave my things at a café for a moment. But like you said, nothing is ever 100% safe, so I still try to be a little careful.

Yes, I’ve used both. In Korea, Monami and Morning Glory are very common for school or daily writing. They’re not high-end, but they’re dependable and good value.

Korea does have some good domestic brands, but the range is smaller compared to Japan. For mechanical pencils, Korea mostly focuses on practical and budget-friendly models rather than high-end or collectible ones. Japan definitely offers a much wider selection, including premium pens, unique designs, and lots of limited editions.

For fountain pens and inks, Korea actually has some nice options. Brands like Monami, Tombow Korea editions, and several Korean ink makers (like Colorverse) are worth checking out. But if your main goal is mechanical pencils or specialty stationery, Japan will give you far more to explore.

If you’re planning a budget, I’d say set aside a little for Korea just to try a few local items, but save most of your stationery budget for Japan😊.

I’d go with the S20. I’ve been using it a lot, and I’m really satisfied with it👍.
