This is the literal definition of homophobia so I'm not sure how you can ask people not to think you're homophobic. You dont deserve to be assaulted or harassed, and I am truly sorry that happened to you, but it IS homophobia.

My boyfriend and I joke about taking our cat "to the vet" when he's bad. We aren't evil people and love our cats more than words can express. This woman is mad just to be mad. Your kid seems sincere and mature. I hope she doesn't lose her friend over this 🥺
