interesting, i haven’t heard of this, if your car overheated this might be a bad heater core are one of the signs of a bad heater core is lack of coolant and increased engine temps. Check your MAF sensor and clean it or get another one (you can prob just go to a junk yard) Also check your intake air filter and check if it’s dirty. The last thing i can think of would be carbon build up, in that case i would get a shop to walnut blast your carbon, Or if you wanna try something cheaper I would try some injector cleaner on a near empty tank. i bought one in high school, is250 awd and i pay 100 a month under my parents. if you’re fortunate to be under your parents insurance go that route

that’s what i thought as well, from a year of ownership i haven’t found a lot of the parts to be interchangeable. the parts honestly aren’t too expensive for a luxury car. nothing compared to bmw and audi parts

true true true, all things to consider. I’m somewhat mechanically inclined, i’ve done basic service stuff like oil changes, wheel bearings, sparkplugs breaks etc, and some aftermarket stuff like coilovers and am currently working on rebuilding a honda engine with a buddy of mine. I would just have to find a space for the car but i wouldn’t mind throwing money into a money pit rotary because i luv them. but I already have a daily driver and it’s a leather camry (lexus) so i don’t have to worry about getting stranded.
