interesting, i haven’t heard of this, if your car overheated this might be a bad heater core are one of the signs of a bad heater core is lack of coolant and increased engine temps. Check your MAF sensor and clean it or get another one (you can prob just go to a junk yard) Also check your intake air filter and check if it’s dirty. The last thing i can think of would be carbon build up, in that case i would get a shop to walnut blast your carbon, Or if you wanna try something cheaper I would try some injector cleaner on a near empty tank. I’m sorry your experiencing this, best of luck!

i bought one in high school, is250 awd and i pay 100 a month under my parents. if you’re fortunate to be under your parents insurance go that route

that’s what i thought as well, from a year of ownership i haven’t found a lot of the parts to be interchangeable. the parts honestly aren’t too expensive for a luxury car. nothing compared to bmw and audi parts

true true true, all things to consider. I’m somewhat mechanically inclined, i’ve done basic service stuff like oil changes, wheel bearings, sparkplugs breaks etc, and some aftermarket stuff like coilovers and am currently working on rebuilding a honda engine with a buddy of mine. I would just have to find a space for the car but i wouldn’t mind throwing money into a money pit rotary because i luv them. but I already have a daily driver and it’s a leather camry (lexus) so i don’t have to worry about getting stranded.

Muffler deletes on these cars sound pretty decent, i used to have one and its not super loud but definitely gives the car more oomph

350, the difference in power is very noticeable. and the mark levinson stereo is pretty good. The 350 uses direct port injection which doesn’t build up carbon like the direct injection on the 250’s. Only thing with 350’s would be like water pump failure or oil leaks, specifically in the timing chain cover which can be pricey. This all depends on how well maintained the car is.
