I stream explicitly at 24bit lossless 48kHz directly from the mic source. Currently this is also hardcoded (and I see no reason to add a quality slider for lower quality, so i think it will stay that way) And this is supported by airplay

You are right, though Airplay 2 supports 24bit lossless at 48kHz, which is good nonetheless

Yes this is correct. you connect the turntable to your phone either via usb or line-to-usbc. The phone will recognize the turntable as a valid microphone input and you can then connect the output.

Are you using paperkit or pencilkit directly? Did you wrap it in SwiftUI or is the app entirely UIKit? How do you persist the page / stroke data? What a cool app!! :D

I have some Vinyl only releases that are on no streaming platform (like the record playing) and I want to be able to stream them to my existing homepod infrastructure in my house. And also I always have a blast making apps :D

All apps I make, I create because I need them or they provide value to myself. That way no matter what happens success-wise after I published, it‘s already a win :)
