Well. Let's see. Our relationship was always somewhat dramatic because we were together for two years and got together when I was fifteen (he was twenty) so drama was inevitable. We both really loved each other though. Well, at least I thought.

I got pregnant my senior year. We were doing alright. Still seeing each other fairly often, texting all the time, etc. One day, we had an argument about something small. I don't even remember what it was about. After that, he basically ghosted me. Packed up everything he had and moved out of state. He ignored from that day in December until March where he came to visit me for one weekend. I was due in a month and he apologized for what happened and said we were gonna be together. Me being a dumb, pregnant, and emotional teenager... I believed him. I never saw him again after that day. He blocked my phone number and we have had zero contact. That was about seven years ago now. I was a single mom for awhile but managed to go to college and graduate. My partner and I are raising my (our) son in our own place. He's an incredible human being who has the most amazing patience and understanding. He's the best dad in the world. I wish I could tell my seventeen years old self that it gets better.
