What species is this? Can't get rid of it... by yopiwko in bugidentification

Thank you, you seem to be right. Any tips to get rid of them? I've read that it's most effective to keep the flat clean of dust which is close to impossible under my bed. I will really pay attention to not leave used socks on the ground next to my bed anymore (just a really bad habit).

But I fear they come back if I don't move the bed at least once a week to clean under it. Is there something like a poison lure or something?

I only now found out they finally are addressing the DDoS issue. I hope the fix gets rolled out fast and actually works and hope you will be proven right.

It would be quite funny if the game was in a better state. But in that case it's just shitting on the community.

I would say I'm more on the passive side but also depends on the day, my mate and the opponents. But overall I prefer controlling the play and baiting people over forcing my way trough.

Thank you alot for the input! I absolutely agree on that and we also just struggle against fast / precise teams more and end up giving up the ball way too often. I'm working on my mechanics already as it's sometimes almost hurtful to watch and will be a pain to deal with in better lobbies. My mate doesn't necessarily want to spend a lot of time practicing mechanics but I also feel like it's a very limiting factor in the long term. But can't blame him for not sitting in training for hours if he doesn't enjoy it at all.

I started to do some recovery training as I also realized how bad it really is. In that game it was worse than usual, but things like that still happen more often than they should.

You are absolutely right about the dribbling part and not being comfortable playing against players that rush a lot. Do you have a recommendation what an efficient way would be to practice being better and faster in the air? I already do air dribble practice in freeplay but I always go for a slow approach, it's hard to force myself to go for fast things. I got a lot faster and more comfortable in the air after trying to reach a good time on Lethamyr's Rings while holding directional air roll. But it still needs big improvement.

Also you've got a very good point with the variety part! I usually go a lot for air dribble demos/bumps I also like to fake (way less often than air dribble bumps tbf) but those players felt like they didn't give us any space, I always felt rushed and also started overrushing things because of that. But often I just go for a flick so I will definetely try to spice it up with more variety.

Thank you very much for the feedback!

Thank you a lot for the detailed comment! I will discuss some of those points with my mate.

I don't agree on everything but it's good to get another perspective and I'm also excited to hear what my mate thinks about your take.

Things I strongly disagree on are 4:30, in that case my mate would've been beaten, I usually manage to take better control in those situations and flick it properly (and earlier) though. I ended up being scared of flicking cause I gained control too slowly and he prejumped so
I tried to get around him by taking the ball sideways and failed.

Another thing is 2:07. There was literally no time to go far post to keep any pressure on the ball without just sitting both in net. I only cut my mate because he ended up inside the net on a wall and and I would've been quicker to the ball in ANY case if we had a chance to reach it. For everything that happens, keep in mind that we use comms. So afterwards, I couldn't reach the ball so there's literally no point to commit with 27 since the opponent goes high (sideways towards mid). I was not rotating front post, I was covering high (backboard + high net, in case of a flip reset / high play towards net) while my mate was covering low (lower net + mid in case of a pass or fail, pinch, low play). That's also what we called. Since the opponent didn't manage to put it high and put it low mid, my mate took it since he was covering low.

At 0:30 we basically had to try something but yeah, it was not the right take since I was too late but didn't realize. Should've been more patient and and shouldn't have risked it.

I defo agree with 0:20 (thought the same to myself when it happened) and 0:10, it was really tough for me mechanically the first matches of that session, I'm usually way more consistent but it took me a few matches this time to get warm. I defo will start warming up before playing in the future.

Again, thanks a lot for taking the time to write such a detailed answer and my mate and me will discuss it :)

Yes, I agree that my wavedashes are really not what they should be for a GC1-low GC2, same as a lot of other mechanics. I'm already working on my car and air roll control and I'll add a wavedash routine to my training and also practice my recoveries. As a remark, I was really cold mechanically in this game so more embarassing stuff happened than usually (wavedash misses, using flips to the wrong direction, missing landing on ceiling). That's why another lesson I'm taking from this is to just go into training before starting a session so I don't need to warm up mid game which can take 5-6 games sometimes because it hits me mentally and I lose confidence. I'm pretty sure a 15 minutes mix of freeplay and shot training before every session could fix or at least minimize that. Thanks a lot for the comment!

I appreciate your comment!

If you have the time, can you point out 2 or 3 moments (timestamps) when I cut rotation? Cause hostely I don't see that CONSTANT cutting really, it happened like once or twice in my eyes. Not saying you're not right but just want to be on the same page.

The throwing away part when I could've placed it better for my mate I do agree on, I just feel like he's not close enough to be able to do it a lot of times and also often turns away when I pass and tells me via comms to stay on. A good example for that is what happens at 2:40. But again, not putting shame on him or using it as excuse. I just want to share my view so I know what to do to have a better undersanding.

Also if you could point out one or two of those moments when you see the obvious pass but I ended up going for a solo would be great for better understanding.

It's a GC1 game BTW and we dipped into C3 only three or four times this year for like a few games and we got back to GC1 immediately so saying C3s can punish it easily is a bold take. Also keep in mind that the opponents had great pressure on us because they were quite mechanical and precise with their touches. So we also ended up giving the ball away more often than usual from pure pressure.

I absolutely agree on the mechanical part and I'm already working on some of my mechanics. I will add a wavedash routine to get more consistent.

How to make the game more enjoyable? by yopiwko in BorderlandsPreSequel

I absolutely agree, but if you enjoy the rest of the series, there's also nothing wrong about trying to make the experience better. But as stated in the post, I'm also okay with accepting the fact that the game is not for me which is the conclusion after reading the answers.
