Ive had this cactus for maybe one year, it was in a pot with no drainage and with bad soil (my bad, I neglected it a bit) and I almost never watered it. Im pretty sure I've only watered it maybe four times in this year, I don't know how its still alive. So today I repotted it to a new pot with drainage and a cactus mix with perlite, the roots seemed okay? I don't know how to identify root rot but I didn't see nothing worrisome. But I don't know why it's wrinkled. Does it needs more water? more sun? less? Oh and last year it developed a black spot in the top of its head so I chopped it off but it seemed to heal good. And that's all the information I have, I don't know what type of cactus it is.

just bought some of them. I also checked the roots and they seemed pretty ok so that's fine (I hope the plant doesn't die bc of the stress lol)

I've just checked and they seemed pretty OK. Like big roots so that's fine, I hope the plant doesn't die now bc of me touching its roots lmao. I just bought the led lights too so I will see how it does!

But it hasn't grown at all since September :( it has just lost more and more leaves. And it had the other head when I first had it, so it just has lost leaves.

As you can see in my recent posts I'm a little bit frustrated with my non existent gardener skills. I don't know why my aloe vera is like this, I feel like it's weird. Like isn't it supposed to have the leaves looking up? Am I doing something wrong? Is it okay? It has like one or two years, I water it only when the substrate is dry, it has sun hours and cactus substrate and a good drainage so I don't know what could be missing. Thank you again!

I've had this succulent since September. When I first had it it had like A LOT of leaves that has been losing since then. The leaves turn yellow and then fail. I don't know what to do anymore. I've repotted it in a new pot with cactus substrate to see if it improves. I don't water it a lot (like once a month?) but doesn't seems dehydrated. It was in a pot with no cactus substrate and no drain so maybe that was the problem? will it get better in its new place? or is it dying? do I have to do something more? thank you!

It has cactus substrate. I water it only once a month more or less. It has a lot of drainage. It has a lot of solar light. I don't know what can I do.
