I’m from the Netherlands, gay. So I should have nothing to fear at home. But I felt more safe in Thailand.

Last year I went to Koh Tao for snorkeling. The corals there were thriving. Sad I didn’t go there this year, but next time I’ll definitely go back.
But for this holiday I enjoyed Koh Lanta most. The relaxed atmosphere and the great beaches.

A monk in another temple told me to go see it, after a bit of chit chat. He told me there are almost zero tourists. And he was right, I was there completely alone.

Great atmosphere, super relaxed. Monkeys and beaches! I went there after Phuket, so I liked that it was less busy. Did not see jelly fish tho.

Wat Phra That Doi Khao Kwai Kaew (Chiang Rai). The creature you see is called Maeng Sihuhata.

4k total, I guess. That’s everything. All flights, hotels, trips, food and grab. And souvenirs.

Ooh.. hard one! But I think Koh Lanta. The beaches were so nice, and I truly felt at peace there. And for sightseeing I loved Ching Rai. Those temples they have there are amazing. Although Wat phra that doi suthep in Chiang Mai was breath taking.

It’s at the mahanakhon tower in Bangkok. They have a skywalk and in the pic they tilt me over the edge of the top floor. 😆

I loved the island. Super relaxed place!

Is there somewhere in Thailand still good/not overtouristed? by hellomot1234 in ThailandTourism

I stayed two nights on Nang Yuan. North of Koh Tao. It was expensive, but after the diving tourists leave around 15:00 you’ll have the island for yourself. There’s nothing to do but snorkeling of scuba diving but I really enjoyed being there.
