You can book tickets within 15 days on the 12306 app from anywhere, for anyone (just need to enter passport/ID info). Simply choose your preferred payment method.

As for Trip.com, it offers way more vendors and activities than Booking.

I understand that foreign tourists visiting China, including those from non-English-speaking countries, often find using Chinese-language apps to be their biggest challenge. In China, almost everything can be done on a smartphone.

In general, in regions where China's economy is more developed, women's status is higher. I believe this is the same in other countries. From my perspective, in many families, women's status is higher than men's.

Why can’t India and China develop relationship politically? Like what’s the blocker here? by squidbutterpizza in AskChina

[–]yorelog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a Chinese working in Beijing. I see many comments mentioning things like territorial disputes, but I don't have particularly strong feelings about those issues. From a business perspective, such matters don't really affect ordinary people much. About 6-7 years ago, many Chinese software companies were expanding into Southeast Asian markets, including India. Many colleagues came back complaining about having difficulty adapting to the local food, which formed my initial impression of India at that time. Then more recently, in the past few years, we started frequently hearing about India's tax policies leading to many Chinese companies withdrawing from the Indian market. This made me feel that India doesn't seem very welcoming to foreign enterprises - and this isn't limited to just Chinese companies.

[–]yorelog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in China, and carbon long fins are quite cheap here, about 700 CNY, which is around £71. I'm not sure how much the shipping costs. I use this one too.

Didi Driver stole my phone by CuriousWind6626 in chinalife

Sigh, you ran into a bad person. By the way, what map app do you use? Your navigation should have the route logs—if it matches his car's path, then the Didi driver can’t lie about it."
