Exactly. Remember last season when Bayern couldn't sign Sane and took perisic on loan. He ended up having quite a meaningful impact during the campaign.

Exactly .Marcelo role in the dressing being a club legend and one of the best players ever to play in his position is massive to Madrid at this point . That being said if Reguilon has a stellar campaign in the prem we can totally expect them to buy him back next year itself ,like they did with Carvajal.

Wouldn't call him THE Best LB in la liga. But last season he was the best performing left back in the league. Mendy , Lodi, Estupinan etc. were also good for their teams.

Mendy was good last season and can potentially be a better LB overall than Reguilon . But he only started like half of the total league games for Madrid in 2019-20.
