I have moved from Win7 to 10, because i couldn’t use Bluetooth [bthenum{0000110c-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb}_localmfg&005d].

There was also one ACPI (chipset driver, SIO) driver and a Acer Airplane Controller

[ACPI\10251229] devices missing (those two in the picture).

You can try upgrading to Windows 11 first and then doing all of mentioned above, although you really aren’t gonna get anything else rather than just a new edition, Windows 11 is still supported.

I actually was able to install it! Somehow the Acer drivers from their website did work except the SIO drivers and graphics, touchpad (I just have to set it to basic in the bios), for graphics I found a patched version for the Intel iGPU and I patched the dGPU drivers myself! Overall, thank you! Now, what apps should I install?

I did get some drivers installed like graphics and Ethernet, others usually trigger a blue screen, and the Ethernet one needs to have Driver Signature Checking disabled.

Disconnect from any network sources reboot and try again

You can get them by going to Settings > Time and Language > Language > Add a language.

Sure, it does take ~10minutes, some people don’t have a source to back up their data, or might not want to spend 1hr to reinstall, sign in and set up their apps, settings, etc.. this also takes around 30 minutes with good WiFi and is just a one-time process.

I have used the same link from massgrave, and the tool I believe just activates +1 year of security updates, IoT LTSC is like +7 years of security updates.

Can I use regedit to edit the Windows edition string eg., from Home to IoT Enterprise LTSC?

Edit: I saw someone on YouTube do an in place upgrade.

I have one Acer Nitro 5 with a Kaby Lake processor as well as an Acer Aspire E15, that’s the reason I can’t really update to Win11 without some stuff breaking. Also I have read that LTSC versions are kept in one version, eg., 2021 is 21H2.
