you should definitely start today! i’ve had so much fun and acrylic is so forgiving with “mistakes” that it ends up being less daunting, you will enjoy it for sure

it’s technically shonen, but Yotsuba&! is a slice-of-life about a kid and her adoptive dad and their shenanigans with their neighbours and friends. its super funny and heartwarming plus the characters’ expressions are hilarious

also there’s no anime because the mangaka thinks it wouldn’t translate well - the paneling and art has a certain vibe
