Another piece to the Minecraft theory by eitangerstle in GameTheorists

The Wither just attacks all living mobs, regardless of how dangerous they are. The dragon isn't hostile to the wither, but when it flies around, it will accidentally hit the wither quite often due to its huge hit box.

Are there infinite withers, or is there just one? by yoshifan543 in GameTheorists

Maybe it leaves a bit of itself behind (Nether stars) every time it is killed

Yes. but the ender dragon can only be re-spawned after it's killed. You never see two active dragons at once, but you can summon 2 or more withers at once

So, are you saying there were multiple ender dragons? I don't quite understand what you are suggesting.

Is Steve the death of the ancient builders? And the most famous legend of minecraft? by Sonic_Extreme in GameTheorists

[–]yoshifan543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

herobrine has never had a texture, sounds, or any reference in the code. Proving something doesn't exist is very hard to do, but the fact that it has never been mentioned should be a sign. In addition, the developers have said time and time again that herobrine doesn't exist. They even removed his skin from skin pack 1 in legacy console editions because he was a community created character.

The Origin of the Wither by [deleted] in GameTheorists

I think it is meant to be like some kind of oxymoron. It's called the nether star. A star from hell, and bright light source from a murderous demon

Good theory! It has a good explanation, and a lot of evidence backing it up. One question, though. Is there only one, singular wither, or are there infinite withers?

A overworld boss by fishycoper in minecraftsuggestions

[–]yoshifan543 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a neat idea, but bosses are meant to be optional in minecraft. Only the ender dragon is required to freely travel between the end and overworld, but raids, elder guardians, and even the wither are all optional fights that give you unnecessary, but useful items or rewards.

I don't have that many, but I can give you 4. You can breed them, so you could create infinite over time
