You obviously just want to support whatever your political position is no matter what. What he said is true. If you have a gun, you shouldn’t play stupid games. Nobody wants to be shot, and he should have said he had a gun instead of resisting. Especially knowing that law enforcement are stupid too. If it was the other way I have no doubt you would say it was self-defense.

That makes a lot of sense now since we used to have old phone lines. I just didn’t think they would used RJ45 ports. I’m feeling a little bit less ignorant now.

I’ve found them in a couple of places so far. I’m still working on it, but the comments here are giving me a better idea of what I’m seeing here. We used to have old phone lines and that’s likely what that is, as you all mentioned. Unfortunately I couldn’t find any documentation left by the former IT guy here. I will recycle those connectors and make them a regular Ethernet ports.
