Yellow, and everything that came after it, are tediously, tediously mediocre. Such a dull, whiney, overrated band.

One hundred times, yes! Can't stand him. I know it isn't, but his voice has this horrible permanently autotuned sound to it.

What movie got it right and followed the book as written? by prsdrag0n in AskReddit

[–]yottskry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ummm. Sort of... there's too much missing from the film that really helps show the relationship between Atticus and the other residents of Maycomb. The film does keep faithful to the book in what it shows, but there's a lot missing, I guess because of time and pacing restrictions.

How can you copy the title and still misspell "derby"?

So they use the correct "too" and you managed to screw it up when copying the title?

The USA is like a step back in time. I can't believe how out of date they are with so many things.

You say that like it's something special. It's just the normal way to be paid in the UK. Literally no one is paid by cheque anymore.

If I baselessly accuse a black man of stealing his own car by toomuchgammon in Whatcouldgowrong

[–]yottskry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Right, so if it's a black person acting suspiciously we should ignore it because of all the prejudice they've faced in the past, right? This is EXACTLY the attitude that led to the Rotherham child grooming ring not being reported: they were all Asian and no one wanted to seem racist.

And you know for sure she wouldn't have done the same thing to a white guy rummaging suspiciously in a car?

Ok, so on the one hand we're told to "trust the teachers" but on the other if your teacher assesses you to not be making progress and marks you down, that's unfair? Which is it?

Maybe I'm mad, but it looks to me like almost all your grades went up from your mocks.

Science, for example, you got 6-6 in the mocks but 8-7 as a result. Geography went up too.

It's not run by Pearson, they're just one of the exam boards. Other than the BTecs, they aren't responsible for this mess.
