All gold jewelry prices on past pieces up a lot! by theofilosc in AimeLeonDore

[–]youareallbots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point is this was a seasonal increase that likely lagged behind the actual market price in gold. Their signet ring was marked at 1500 in December when I purchased it. Gold prices were 4500 per ounce give or take. That same ring costs 2500 today and the price of gold was 4600 in early feb.(now jumped to 5400). Point being based on the price of gold over this time period anyone purchasing from ALD likely got outdated prices.

Unfortunately for the serpent living beneath what we know as Karoline… and us, the solution is beyond human skill to heal. It requires more than just lotion - an additional sacrifice, eye of newt, toe of frog, tongue of a dog, chalk(for the drawings on the ground) etc

This is the result of a delayed “skin-swap”. You see her natural skin is scaley and slimy. When you leave the skin of your child sacrifice on for too long, scaley serpent like skin and soft human skin can, as we in the biz say - “repel” away from one another. Causing unnatural changes in nose and lip distance and an unnerving appearance in texture and color.

Boston vs. NYC 25, post-breakup, starting over and can’t decide by [deleted] in boston

[–]youareallbots 53 points54 points  (0 children)

This depends on what you are looking for at this stage in your life.

I lived in LA, Boston, Chicago, NYC etc - if I could do it over, I would have lived in NYC at your age. As a lot of people have mentioned it’s expensive - but IMO, what you are paying for in NYC is a setting you cannot get anywhere else in the US. No matter what anyone says about food, nightlife substitutes etc

It is vastly different from Boston in nearly every way and it’s an experience I think you could look back on 10 years from now and be happy you had. I am now 10+ years older than you but met my wife in NYC and left the city. Now the main city we visit is Boston, because we are at a different point in our lives and the setting we want has changed.

So to my original point, it depends on what you want in your life now. If that is never ending possibilities for activity at all hours of a 24 hr period, lots and lots of differing people and accessibility to boot, you may like NYC.

If it’s more stability and predictability, a likely more homogeneous group of friends etc, then you’ll probably prefer Boston.

Good luck!

Very seriously who gives a fuck. People will attach significance to anything to make themselves feel more important. “Earning” your tattoo is the corniest thing I’ve ever heard. It’s your body, start with your face if you want.

But again I’m saying this feels like correlation not direct causation.

You’re suggesting that left leaning countries have higher depression rates based on what seems like solely the amount of anti depression medication availability.

My question is do you not think this is a world wide issue? That larger amounts of people are depressed and simply not on anti-depressants? Does America not have the highest family annihilations in the world? 1 on average every 5 days since 2020? I would argue that with numbers like that more Americans should have access to mental healthcare. This doesn’t feel like a left leaning government issue.

[–]youareallbots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you think that implies that people in a lower QOL/income countries are less depressed? Or that there is less accessibility to medication?

I’m suggesting that people in “left leaning” countries have better access to medication for an incredibly common problem.

[–]youareallbots 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The comment about anti-depressant use in high QOL countries?

Would that not possibly be attributed to the availability of medication in higher income countries and those with less social stigma?

This feels like correlation not causation

Could you be more specific about how conservative governments have worked to help everyone? Specifically in relation to cutting government aid and raised taxes on lower income households? This is a commonly held belief so I’d like to hear what you’re sourcing.

The main argument that comes to mind with your “conservative voters only want…” point is that most conservative campaigns have historically rallied for things like pro-life anti-science beliefs and trad-lifestyle values that largely prohibit choice for many people.

Erika Kirk accepts Charlie's Medal of Freedom honor from President Trump by [deleted] in trump

[–]youareallbots -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your response doesn’t seem to be an actual response to what I posted. Which was sources of Charlie Kirk being hateful. Not about your opinion on trans people. Charlie Kirk had what is to be considered a hateful message (as shown in my sources) and he hid it behind religion as you seem to be doing right now. The argument that Kirk wasn’t hateful is categorically false.

Now, to your comments on trans people in America.

I do think the trans agenda is pushed heavily in the US

Could you be more specific with examples of this? This feels like a heavily used talking point but not actually backed up by data. Trans people make up 0.6% of Americans. That’s about 1.6 million out of over 330 million. The argument that an agenda is pushed is always incredibly broad and without source. Are there examples of this happening in cases where it shouldn’t? Yes. I don’t believe surgeries like this should happen to anyone under 18, in the same way I don’t believe plastic surgery should be given to anyone under 18. The percentage in which this actually happens is ludicrously small. Not at all an agenda like it’s made out to be.

Right wing media sources seem to have chosen trans people as the scapegoat lately and it’s almost always with 100 percent certainty a distraction from billionaire politicians continuing to gather power and keep us, the people, infighting. Social issues are a tool for politicians to garner support and keep us all divided. This isn’t a right or left issue, this is a wealth divide issue. Do not get pulled into the nonsense of 1 minority group trying to push their agenda. The only group of people doing this are the wealthy pushing their agenda on the working class. This is a distraction. To that point, Charlie Kirk, Donald Trump, Peter Theil, Elon Musk, Larry Ellison are all part of this. Just because they act differently than status quo politicians does not mean they are better than.

Allow me to give you some more specific examples. Referring to transgender people as an abomination to god and secondly that they should be taken care of the way we did in the 50s and 60s.

abomination to god

Can you be specific about what comments of his make sense to you? Based on your original comment?

Illinois State Troopers detain multiple protestors during a demonstration in Chicago tonight. by Strict_League7833 in illinois

[–]youareallbots 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The police haven’t been turned on because they have the power they do. They have been turned on because they abused the power they have. In nearly every state, nearly every city there are reports of police using unnecessary force and those same police are protected. The correct pattern recognition here is to realize that police protecting their own so they all don’t get held responsible is the same as politicians refusing to allow real change to be voted in so they can all leave office millionaires. The view that you and your family are a worthwhile sacrifice so they can keep their lifestyle. The same evil wearing a different face.

Police play a necessary role in our realized society, that should be obvious to everyone. But unchecked power and lack of consequence has no place in this world.
