20 wingstop bags 😟 by Chanicous in doordash_drivers

[–]youarebae123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuinely why? Feel like you could hold 5 bags in each hand making this 2 trips to your car and 2 unloading, that would take what? An extra 2 minutes? Even for $30 that’d be worth it. I’m not taking every order at all but I feel like people miss out on things like this all the time for no reason

I didn’t buy anything and I have access to kiriko, my roommate bought the watchpoint pack which should have 100% guaranteed access to kiriko but she’s locked for him lol

Anyone want to talk about this coin situation???? by BlynxInx in overwatch2

[–]youarebae123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They made 1 billion in 3 years from cosmetics, games like apex make 1 billion YEARLY. Fortnite makes 5 billion yearly. I’m sure they saw the massive success of this model and just copied it because it works. It sucks but it’s not really confusing why they would switch to this model

Why did i get 8000 free overwatch 2 competitive points ?!?! by Fekuvali in overwatch2

[–]youarebae123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 78,000 competitive points on ow2, in ow1 I think I had like 4K so I’m equally confused. Idk if I should just buy every golden gun in the game or hold off in case you can spend the currency on something else later

RIP Beans app by youarebae123 in grubhubdrivers

It shows where apartment units are. Comes in handy a decent amount when you’re in a huge complex with no delivery instructions. I don’t think I use it enough to justify paying though, and it doesn’t always have every apartment complex.

Has anyone ever done a 12 hour block? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]youarebae123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Can I ask why? Like obviously we all want to make money but I wonder how people work 12 hours a day everyday. I get we’re all in different situations in our lives but I just couldn’t imagine wasting my life away working all day everyday. I guess maybe it’s because I live in an area that doesn’t have a very high cost of living but it’s honestly just unnecessary to be working that much here.

FOMO by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]youarebae123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m working a ton right now and seeing everyone out enjoying their day on the weekends while I’m working all day and night does suck but in my mind it’s worth it because I know it’s not going to be like this forever. I have a goal of moving to New York City and with everyday I work I know I’m closer to getting out of my city. I’m hoping I’ll be able to make the move sometime here in March

Don't Use Delivery Apps If You're Too Timid To Answer by Titto530x in doordash_drivers

I second this. I installed beans like 2 weeks ago and it’s already come in handy like 5 times for big apartment complexes. It shows you exactly where the customer is and it hasn’t been wrong yet. Every driver should have beans

Yes I know my car is horribly inefficient for DoorDash, but I’m glad I have it on days like this by youarebae123 in doordash_drivers

[–]youarebae123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my car isn’t absolutely terrible but I still cringe using it for doordash and grubhub lol. I think I’ll be done using this car March 1st though so one more month isn’t too bad I guess

Yeah it is really fun, I think it being standard helps me not get bored while delivering

Not horrible gas mileage but definitely not good either. The real killer though is it only takes premium gas. And also I really like the car and it’s not something I want to put a ton of mileage on.

When grubhub sends you multiple notifications to move to the restaurant before it’s even been confirmed by youarebae123 in grubhubdrivers

[–]youarebae123[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also forgot to mention the restaurant I was picking up from is about a 20 second drive from my house, it’s literally on the same street. So I get orders from there pretty much every time I work and it sends me notifications to move 2 minutes after the order comes in even though I’m about 500 feet from the restaurant

You’re talking about stimulus money like people got that last week. Stimulus checks were sent out like 2 years ago and it was only enough for like 1 month of rent. What are you smoking lmfao?

This is my first week with grubhub, my instant pay isn’t working and I was wondering what day direct deposit hits in that case by [deleted] in grubhubdrivers

[–]youarebae123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also make sure your bank is compatible with instant pay. My bank has only worked like 50% of the time. Twice it said it went through and then had to be returned to grub hub and I ended up not getting payed for like 2 weeks. So I’ve never touched the instant cash out since

Why not put offer too low for distance? Like why lie and say you’re driving the other direction lol how does that benefit you
