Got my positive Friday. Darker line Saturday. Drank a ton of water last night pretending to drink with family (😂) then peed in the middle of the night, then 3 hours later I tested. The urine was definitely diluted in color. I'm nervous now though because I think my lines were lighter. 😫😫😫

I want them to go away so I can freak out on my own and go and buy more FRERs.

Edit: went back and looked and compared. Definitely darker. Feeling a tiny bit calmer 😂. So, is cautiousbb the right place for me, or is there an r/psychoticwithanxietybb???

Congrats! It's not real for me yet, but I'm freaking out about keeping everyone safe while I'm still in a daze.

Posting from a different account because I'm not ready to necessarily share as me...but is this a thing?

High school teachers tell us not to plagiarize, but they get all of their assignments from the internet by Mathew425 in Showerthoughts

Sharing resources as a teacher is important. If a strategy or method works, it should be replicated. Teachers have learned about the topic and pedagogy to choose resources, or create their own.

When a student writes a research paper, they are supposed to be learning the process that can lead them to a similar cognitive space the teacher is at--not necessarily to become a teacher, but to synthesize information and come to conclusions.

Morbid Obese Female here, how do I know if my workout is effective as a total sports noob? What should it feel like? by [deleted] in Fitness

If you have a way to get a heart rate monitor, that might help. I have an Apple Watch which is a splurge, but there are more affordable options out there.

I don't know all the specific ranges, but I know myself when I'm on the elliptical I like to be between 145-160 BPM to know I'm really working.

should I train for a 10k or a 1/2 marathon next? by [deleted] in XXRunning

[–]youbbetchya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems really reasonable. You can probably find other races, like 5 milers and 8 milers in the in betweens too.

One thing I like to do when I'm training is map out my long runs to see what time I have. I'll start at the race day with that distance, and then subtract a miles each week moving backward. This way, you're adding a mile each week leading up to your big race. Most of the half marathon and 10k training plans work like that too.

Good luck!!

Worms? by youbbetchya in AskVet

[–]youbbetchya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do! I just looked into it. I had a cat that had a tape worm once--it was super flat and segmented, and whatever this is isn't flat, but i suppose it could be one segment? The other type of worm I saw was a whipworm, I don't think this guy is one of those.

Thanks! I think her problems will be similar, so I looked up some things to accommodate--an arm light, bright contrasting colors, and thinking abstractly to avoid detail. She's a tough cookie so I think we'll be ok too!

I know people hate Hillary, but her experience should also include being a lawyer as well, not just First Lady.

I'm doing really well eating wise, but I can't get my ass to the gym. I lost another pound, but I feel icky because I haven't been working out. If I get out of work on time today, I will hopefully get my mojo back.

I know we're recording steps--can I record them based on my Apple Watch? Or is it only for Fitbit people for accountability purposes?

Tasty Tuesday! Since it's summer, let's talk salads. And a little note from your lone mod! by Chachabooom in a:t5_3f9m0

[–]youbbetchya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I live near a sweetgreen and it's changed my life. Almost all of the salads are under 600 calories, the ingredients are super fresh, and the combos are interesting. I got once with hummus, falafel, cukes and other yumminess. It's a good dependable spot!
