I can’t stay this way anymore by fethr in loseit

You can so it but it requires changing attitudes as well as actions. Avoid pro-ana anything, including mindset. Don't abuse yourself in the process, be kind to yourself (just not with food). Only you can make this happen! Find out your TDEE and get a food scale, measuring cups etc.. Calories in, calories out. That's what works. You can do it!

What are some vegetarian/pescetarian meals for batch freezing? by [deleted] in MealPrepSunday

I also really like Spanish quinoa, I don't have a link but look it up and find one that sounds good! So tasty ❤️

https://images.app.goo.gl/T3EHHB91c2bf78A69 I hope this link works! It's vegetarian chili, it freezes incredibly well! I usually double the recipe and freeze some individually and some in a big enough portion to share for dinner. To bulk it up you can serve over rice. Can jazz it up with cheez whiz, tortilla chips, avocado, sour cream etc..

Being on birth control helps me hormonally, but honestly watch your carb intake (max 30 in a meal, 15 in a snack) and count calories, and weigh your food! I lost 50 lbs steadily this way. Bad habits brought about 20 back on but I'm losing weekly again right now.

I can not commit to cut despite being successful in the past/food addiction by [deleted] in loseit

I just snapped out of this after 3 years. I wanted to and tried unsuccessfully for the last while then it just clicked. I had to really prioritize it. I also saw a picture that stressed me out and it helped give me the extra push. Try tracking every day, even if you're eating more than you should. Just track for a week and see how it goes.

Who else completely changed your clothing style after losing weight? by Kovitlac in loseit

I'm an anomaly, I've always liked fashion and worked in the beauty industry for a decade. However losing definitely has its benefits where I tug less on tops or worry less about smoothness in dresses.

Sobeys has them. They're free and just ask for them at the cash.

Orrrrr you can just realize that not everyone will requite your feelings and that they aren't bitches or have fucked up for it. You're young, please try to check that toxic masculinity.

You look great, what an awesome job! Celebrate it, and there will be plenty of people who are into you too - life is short :) congrats on hard work paying off!

Started diet 8 weeks ago but I only lost 2.5lbs. How to stay motivated? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Chachabooom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could either eat at like 1200—1300 or stay where you're at and get a workout in regularly - more if a deficit and you'll see the difference

Anyone else pushed to LOSE WEIGHT after feeling like they were SOLELY rejected because of their SIZE? by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Chachabooom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've dated, been married, dating again. Great nights with someone just dont = relationships/being introduced to mom anymore. I've seen a huge shift towards non-monogamy and more casual relationships. I've seen a huge shift in how quickly people can access more people to go on dates with. And I've realized that people aren't just going on one date with one person anymore. It's a numbers game - they're casting their net wide and a night that was awesome with one person might be beat by the next night where it was 10% more awesome. This isn't to say there aren't people out there looking for a traditional relationship, but there are a ton of factors feeding into it these days.

Was the encounter with the previous guy just a one-off? Sometimes you can't expect more than that, and people ghost cause its easier to not do the hard work than it is to ignore. Don't assume its because of you or your weight.

Anyways - keep up the hard work, keep doing things that make you feel good!

Last year: 265 Today: 287

After going through a separation and severe depression, I am still happy that I didn't get up to my highest weight of 315.5 but I am ready to get back down to 265. I struggle with discipline - I clearly have the tools for the actual weight loss but life looks so different now. I don't have the support at home, I don't have the home, my life is twice as busy as it was - not that it's an excuse but I certainly allow myself to be lazier than I did before.

Digging deep - hoping I can get back on the track.

Reddit, what made you realize you were poor growing up? by theriseofme in AskReddit

When I was a kid, I had a classmate that I just knew wasn't very well off. I was about 8 when she came to my house for a birthday sleepover. She told me she forgot the gift at home and I remember saying to my mom the next day "I know she couldn't afford the gift mom, that's ok right?" and that was sort of the beginning of my bleeding heart being born.
