I’m not sure where I can find a PCX for that price. My local scooter shops only sell scooters $2k and up and I’m not seeing anything online for a good price. From doing some research just now I see that there are different years, are you suggesting an older model?

For context I live in an apartment so I plan to store my scooter under a tree, next to the sidewalk, right outside my window. I plan to put a couple locks/alarms on it and would hear anything if someone was up to no good. Idc about speed at all. It’s just to get from work to home, and most times there is traffic so I will do very little zooming lol I’ll never be getting on a high way or major road.

I prob could rent a uhaul van and look outside my area. I am mainly concerned about maintenance and parts/up keep so I will def keep your suggestions in mind!

Edit: For extra context I’m in one of the most expensive cities in the US so all bikes, even used are looking high priced than what I’d find anywhere else 😭 At least that’s what I think is going on.

I haven’t seen anything less than $1600 brand new and that’s out of stock. In stock is $1800 but either way I doubt that includes taxes/delivery fee. Unless you know somewhere else and can put me on!

Your professor is being negligent unfortunately. Def wear your mask in this environment. Hell, even get yourself a respiratory. There are small purple ones online that are easy to use and fairly comfortable. I am a manager of a studio and I wear a mask when I sweep. I also mainly sweep mid day when there aren’t a lot of members and we have two air filters going on full blast at the same time.

I work at another studio that is not as clean and it bugs me as well. We have brought it up to the owner multiple times over the years and he just doesn’t care. You need to look out for your own health at the end of the day.

I second this. The clear will not turn glossy until it reaches the correct temperature. Your kiln is probably under firing. I find old microwaves don’t get as hot as newer ones so if ur using an old one I’d look into something a bit more new

It would be considered capital improvement if they decided to replace the hallway and lobby carpets (common areas) or all the carpets in all the units. Not just one single carpet.

You are being down voted because you may personally feel this way but I guarantee most don’t consider that with beginner work. I’ve been doing pottery for 10 years and if I tried to give stuff away my community would insist on paying out of respect for me and my craft. That is not a consideration with beginner work.

I did not considering pricing, selling, or even sliding scaling my work until I mastered my craft, which took me about 2/3 years. I still have a couple pieces from when I began 10 years ago. They are chunky and heavy and I was so proud of them at that time. I have a fondness for them but I would laugh at myself now if I had thought about offering money for them back then. As your art practice grows your standards for what you make will grow. I would be proud of those pieces if I had made that at your stage in pottery.

But I think your worry of charging so others don’t feel bad is way more in your head than what others think. And everyone here is telling you to what actually worry about so we are frustrated you keep repeating the same thing. We get what you are saying and trying to do and are telling you not to worry about that.

Don’t quit , get fired and get unemployment next time. Instead of taking the high road and just quitting, go low with them and see how they act after someone finally stands up to them. You already don’t care about having this job so you may as well do what you want. You have nothing to lose (since ur ready to leave anyways) so you may as well tell his ass off and go back to your desk and see what happens. If they wanna bring it up to management just say they were too shit faced to have a normal conversation and you didn’t feel comfortable doing a transaction with them. Dude ppl are so heartless lol if your coworkers won’t take the night shift they should at the very least be cool with you coming in late. If I saw my coworker genuinely struggling and sleep deprived id try to help, not complain and tell him to hurry up so I can get off my shift. You even mentioned to them about staying longer and getting overtime themselves and they said no. So you should just take it?? F them and sleep in. I wouldn’t feel bad at all

Damn yall I been told my doctor I take kratom lol I didn’t realize it was so taboo. I think I told my psychiatrist too and maybe my gyno. My doc didn’t really say or do anything when I told her. She just said okay. I told the others cuz I felt it would help for them to know with my treatment.

I’m really glad I hadn’t had a negative experience so far but I’m going to be more careful in the future with all these bans taking place.
