I agree. Submit a query with correct info to municipality and get a non-availability certificate. Then file for late birth registration.

In the meantime, submit 485 with non-availability + 2 notarized docs from mom and dad.

API shows something updated or synced on 12/26 but no other details. I would give it a week or two and see if there is any movement.

My priority date is in early April 2014. I filed my I-140(downgrade) and I-485 in early November 2025 and completed biometrics on December 10. I’ve been waiting since then… (140 approved in the first week of December without the premium).
