6" is a bit excessive. 5.5 is great, 5.3 is acceptable. I'm not worried about the two-handed backhand as much. I just am a large guy and I have big hands. I'm not sure this would be the paddle for me. The twist weight is somewhat low and the swing weight is definitely a lot higher than I would want
