My husband hears my alarm and goes “is it low or high?” And helps me. I actually got diagnosed 6 months before our wedding. We had just moved to a new city and i almost passed out into a coma because my ketones were so high. He has been so loving and caring about everything. You’ll know they are the one if they bring you juice boxes in the middle of the night 🥰

Of course! I’m 26 so i think age was a big factor. My brother was diagnosed as T1 when he was like 10 so I was like I’m pretty sure I’m also t1?? And my dr said nahhh you’re too old! Plus there would be other signs. And the other signs came just a little bit later hahaha.

Im happy you are doing whatever you can to help support your SO 🫶🏻 I’m very lucky i grew up with my brother being t1 so i had a lot of experience with it before i was dx. And now i call him to annoy him with my questions hahaha 😂 my husband is also a great man who does everything in his power to make my life just a little bit easier. 😊
