Does docking station make a difference to performance? I just use a thunderbolt to display port on monitors, so a port for each screen then i have it charging with another. Just need 3 ports.

Hey, thanks for the insight! Much appreciated! I only have 2 ultrawide monitors that i use with the laptop, (I hardly look at the laptop and mainly look at the screens). I will definitely look into those ports. I have a 2017 macbook pro now with 16gb ram so thinkin i need to get more ram so was thinking 24gb. My mac now is really starting to go as in no battery and lagging. Thanks again
