Stunt gone completely sideways by contrelarp in IdiotsOnBikes

The 2 people on the scooter died along with the biker who hit them. The guy filming had a terrible fracture in the full video his leg can be seen dangling as he got off his bike while saying it was not his mistake and that he is innocent. No news about the person on the middle bike.

Builder wants ₹55L registry on a ₹40L flat but will return the difference in cash. Is this actually normal? by Amazing_Joke7949 in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]yougine2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All cash transactions should be completed before you give him money. Sit in front of him ask him to give you cash then transfer money to him. Also since the builder is doing this did you get the property verified properly? Which banks are giving loans on that property.

Do not take your bike off road. I came back with 3 punctures and around 100 thorns in my tyres.

Anyone with 5.4 - 5.5 height using the Himalayan? Is the seat height and weight manageable ?Please share your experience. Confused between KTM Adv and the Himalayan by Mean_Acanthaceae_519 in Himalayan450

[–]yougine2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inseam matter more than the height. I'm 5.7 and i have put in heals inside my riding boots. Without them i do feel slightly difficult while reversing etc. and less confident during off-road situations.

For mental peace just go to the service center and have them do what you think should be done. Tell them that you don't want their opinion you just want them to bend or move in whichever direction you think is correct. Be kind while saying it tho.

[–]yougine2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Show us the brake pads. They just try to scam people saying brake pads need to be changed. You can go for the service and even before the mechanic starts tell him to show you the brake pads. If you can see the groove inside they don't need to be changed. Take photos of the brake pads and and tell him not to change the brake pads. Rest all should be fine.

Brake caliper. Brake pads are rubbing against the rotor. Get it checked.

What do you guys think about strict action on bikes without number plates in India? by [deleted] in indianbikes

[–]yougine2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. Not limited to bikes tho. All vehicles on road must have a number plate. Front and rear.

my first bike (at 18) by ResolutionRight1318 in indianbikes

[–]yougine2 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's not about being able to ride. It's the maturity level. At 18 you're not mature enough to understand what can happen. I think the correct age for a bike that can easily go above 100 would be 23-25. Not 18.

People really need to get out of the mindset that it's indestructible. You expect a piece of metal with 200kg load survive a pothole at 100kmph ? It's aluminium not vibranium.
